How did it work out for you ? I’ve been landscaping working hard for a long time and always loved doing stone work but got really into bricks as they are popular in Maryland ……thinking of joining a brick crew and just starting at the bottom ….pay would be a little less I’m sure from the museum I’m at but I want to be working harder and getting a workout which I enjoy rather than sitting around blowing leaves and planting flowers at the museum lol

@@mikekushner9436 I'm still at the beginning of my career. Got messed around a lot being taken advantage of. Need an opportunity with a good company......I'm exactly like you I have worked hard for years and changed career for my passion and it hasn't been easy but I deserve a good opportunity now. I'm even looking to move to another country especially because the UK has bad weather. If you manage to find a good company keep me in mind because I would be willing to move. Good luck with ur career because u have done the right thing. Go after your passion and be creative, the money will follow.

Man what a man you truly are...the love and passion can be felt through the screen. When you mentioned about your children looking back and thinking that our father built this would be a very heart felt moment for them. I take my hat off to you my friend and wish you all the success in this life and the next.

Brilliant video mate, fantastic to hear hear and see your passion! Ive recently worked on an old Co-op, built in 1900 and found that fascinating. As well as that, I'm also working on an old barn built in 1810. Converting it in a house, whilst trying to keeping all the original brickwork and stonework. Spent the weekend just gone in York, loved looking at all the old buildings and pubs and how things were done back in the day. Makes me want to put my efforts more towards restoring and maintaining these peices of history rather than the standard new builds and extensions what I do now..which are gonna only gonna be kocked down in 100 years or so.

It’s all about the bigger picture and not just rushing. Chuck a bit of wood over that inspection hole in the house someone will stack it . This truly is Craftsmanship /something a specialist stonemason would take on 👏🏻
