How did it work out for you ? I’ve been landscaping working hard for a long time and always loved doing stone work but got really into bricks as they are popular in Maryland ……thinking of joining a brick crew and just starting at the bottom ….pay would be a little less I’m sure from the museum I’m at but I want to be working harder and getting a workout which I enjoy rather than sitting around blowing leaves and planting flowers at the museum lol

@@mikekushner9436 I'm still at the beginning of my career. Got messed around a lot being taken advantage of. Need an opportunity with a good company......I'm exactly like you I have worked hard for years and changed career for my passion and it hasn't been easy but I deserve a good opportunity now. I'm even looking to move to another country especially because the UK has bad weather. If you manage to find a good company keep me in mind because I would be willing to move. Good luck with ur career because u have done the right thing. Go after your passion and be creative, the money will follow.
Some of the best examples of brickwork i have seen is from the Victorian era.
Love your work ethic, you've got a talent and you're using it to the maximum. God bless you too Dean.
Man what a man you truly are...the love and passion can be felt through the screen. When you mentioned about your children looking back and thinking that our father built this would be a very heart felt moment for them. I take my hat off to you my friend and wish you all the success in this life and the next.
Top work as always, that’s going to be something when it’s done. You’ll be sat there in years to come having a cuppa in your garden, remembering and being proud of what you will have achieved… fair play dean 👍🏻👍🏻
I've worked around alot of bricklayers in the past 7 years, never once met a bricklayer like you👍👌 your knowledge and skill for bricklaying is 👏 inspiring!
Looks very very good big fan of the old Victorian builds and the rustic brick, fair play

Newbie here I came across your video while watching another brickie I follow.. I've gotta say what a cracking build your doing here 👍😎 I'm not a brickie but just find it so therapeutic to watch 😬 keep up the great work & I guess it's now time for me to head back over & catch up on your previous work 🙌

Top work!! A true craftsman
Great video Dean, you are blessed with a great skill. Keep the videos coming, all the very best from Cornwall.
Looking good, hell of a lot of time, effort and skill gone into that grand opening 👌👍👏👏👏
Great stuff Deano love the traditional brick detail work, some would not no where to start you have good vision on what you want only right. This is going to be one hell of an entrance a couple of stone lion each side. Entrance fit for a traditional Bricklayer 👍 Good old Job👍
You’re on a completely different level you know!! Skilled and passionate don’t justify your work. I can’t even think of a word to say for how good this looks. Your children should be very proud of you!
Outstanding work mate, love the choice of music for the video too👍👏a salute to all blades 🧱out there.
as a level 2 apprentice bricky , watching this is fucking mustard , people dont realise the skill it takes
Brilliant video mate, fantastic to hear hear and see your passion! Ive recently worked on an old Co-op, built in 1900 and found that fascinating. As well as that, I'm also working on an old barn built in 1810. Converting it in a house, whilst trying to keeping all the original brickwork and stonework. Spent the weekend just gone in York, loved looking at all the old buildings and pubs and how things were done back in the day. Makes me want to put my efforts more towards restoring and maintaining these peices of history rather than the standard new builds and extensions what I do now..which are gonna only gonna be kocked down in 100 years or so.
Just watched this video, phenomenal work. Looks incredible. Deffo worth the hard work and thought process 👍
I’m not a bricklayer, stumbled across you a few months back, but that sir is F*******g incredible 👍💪🏻

Just see end Danny. You're a craftsman. Top of you're game. And I don't need to be a bricklayer to see that. It's a shame we won't her to see the whole build. But understandable. You are living proof that he who dares gets results. All the best to you and ya family.
Looks smart that does deano, very nice 👍🏻
Good to see Ray Winston is back on the trowel. Lol That is going to be one amazing looking house when it’s finished. What a legacy to leave for your children and grandchildren. Top drawer work mate.

When it's finished, is there a timeline on this project.
absolute beauty would love to work for someone like you i take so much pride into my work i may do it slower than others but i care too much to rush the job
That looks the business mate. Good on you to film it being built, a lot of trowels would not have the bottle. Old school and be proud of it!!

Thank you
Marvelous bro. God bless. Creativity in action. Sleep well now
Love it from Mexico 👍
I'm a bricklayer from the states at first I thought a arch would look a lot more traditional but that came out really nice
Fantastic 👌🏻 The tulip great touch . Loved every minute of this even your dog knocking over the hot chocolate . You could make a book on this from start to finish it’s inspiring makes me hungry . It’s all about the bigger picture and not just rushing. Chuck a bit of wood over that inspection hole in the house someone will stack it . This truly is Craftsmanship /something a specialist stonemason would take on 👏🏻

Top work bud

That is the absolute nuts. I’m stealing that design!
