Great interview. I've got so much respect for Brian and the Stray Cats. Its awesome to know how deep his knowledge of the early rock-a-billy scene was. His passion is awesome!! He introduced me to some new songs I'd never heard.
The 80s.... when the bedhead mullet was cool. : ) I really like Brian here. He is very tired, maybe even hung over. And his tongue is doing a lot of travelling. But he is so thoughtful and trying to answer all the questions meaningfully. Really cares about what he's saying. And wow...no curse words. Just a charming easygoing guy. This interview has its issues, but it's good to meet him in this setting and at this age. He is a stellar talent. Much respect for this man.
Love bri he looks like he just got out of bed here!❤❤❤
Simply stated, "Brian rocks!"
Love brian cool and down to earth❤❤
GREAT TIMES! NO INSTANT GRATIFICATION NO CELLPHONES, AND A LOT OF MYSTICISM IN MUSIC

Actually I changed my mind about that now lmao
The interviewer certainly did her homework and prepared a LOT of well thought out questions. She was also very good at coming up with follow up questions on the fly.
This is awesome thanks!
Very knowledgeable about 🎵 his music, and the music he was influenced by. Stray Cats rules
3:03.....Good stuff always happens when you stumble into a bar totally pie eyed.......🎸🇨🇦
Thanks, man! That was fun.
At the end he's playing catch with Tommy Burns another rockabilly guitar player from Long island
how old was Brian when this interview took place ... fantastic ...
Sure this interview is 84? Seems like it’s at least a couple years later because he talks about “knife feels like justice” album
Love listening to him but totally unprofessional interview crew. Changing damn tapes every 10 minutes, stupid breaks right when he's in the middle of explaining something interesting.

Yes, and the answer switches direction, by the time they start again.
Its interesting, he and JD McPherson in a similar vain influenced by punk. Easy to understand but interesting nonetheless.

Hormone abuse!
This man is so lovely but the interviewer seems annoying AF. He's obviously exhausted - couldn't they have let the poor man take a nap?
Great guitar player! Throws like a girl though lol

Probably put a few more hours into the practice of guitar than on the mound.

I just caught a pre-shave glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror - people in glass houses etc - so I can't comment PS - the post-shave reflection didn't change a thing; not a jot

+Harlie Quinn Looking like you do I’d have to say you have a lot of damn gall raising your head over the parapet and commenting on how anybody looks - pot calling the kettle black.
