Whatever about American groups, venues like the Fillmore , Fillmore West, Fillmore East , Day at The Green , Winterland Arena or in Boston for a brief period Boston Tea Party - venues where you’d be expected to do two sets a night and maybe 2-3 nights were extremely important for the visiting European groups trying to break into America. Yes , they might have had to play a few more gigs without the full pay of a headliner , but it gave them exposure that they needed badly while be guaranteed to play in front of more than 2000 people rather than take a chance on headlining 500 person venue and hope that people will come . It’s also meant staying in a city for a night or two rather that god awful package tour crap that went on in the early 1960s Fillmore and the Boston Tea Party was pretty important for groups like the Who

I really hate this that in our 10th class eng ncert book we are reading about the great Nelson Mandela instead of Bhagat Singh or other freedom fighter who help our nation to be independent 😢😢

What a down to earth person he was. At 61 this is the first interview I have ever heard of his. In fact, I never knew what his non-singing voice was like. He was one of my 3 favorite violaists and his positive attitude just solidified it more.

Met Eddie Kendricks in Atlanta during a MLK march in 1981 or 82. He was sitting alone on the steps and was quiet. I approached him, my roommate and l took a picture with him. He was so nice.

How can Dylan be a "born again" Christian when he wasn't born Christian to begin with? His last name is Zimmerman. I do believe Mr. Fogerty has been misinformed.

As a older guitarist myself, I always consider Brian in a league of his own.. As well as Lee, Slim and the guys in The BSO! Other than the early pioneers of rock and roll, Brian and his style of "Rockabilly" has kept me playing. God Bless, hoobilly...

So grateful this historical day was caught on film and now available on KZread for the world to see. This is so pure. Here Timothy Leary first mentioned Tune in Turn On Drop Out. The Doors attended the Human Be In, and 10 days earlier had released their first album. The Doors were virtually unkown at the time except locally in LA. 20,000 people no fights and everyone tripping balls. If we ever build a time machine this will be my first destination, until then this will do.

He is a role model for many youth. A positive model of a hard working band with amazingly music that still lives today. After 40 years the lyrics are more appropriate. I AM A PATRIOT, SOLIDARITY.. LOVE HIM TODAY AND YESTERDAY.
