Yeah a masterpiece of Brian

I will never forget hearing this song for the first time, when Brian sang it at Freddie‘s tribute. I watched him perform it on the live broadcast and absolutely sobbed, it was so raw and beautiful. That was the song that made me buy this album straight away originally. I love the Queen version with Freddie‘s vocal as well. Probably in my top three songs that Brian has ever written. ❤️

It is personal for him. He wrote this when he was trying to save his marriage but he was in love with Anita with whom he was having an affair at the same time. It ripped him apart. However, him and Anita have now been happily married for 25 years.

Back in March 1997 when Bryan came in Mongolia to see the sun eclipse, I met him at the airport and recognized that "this is the curly Bryan from the Queen". I approached d him and said "your Too Much Love Will Kill You Is a Killer Song" then he smiled at me me and shaked my hand. This was one my life's unforgetful moments . . . .

The emotion in this song is beautifully portrayed

Every member of Queen was just Stellar beyond words...Brian is no exception ! I have never heard a band , and vocalists such as Freddie , and Brian , who could pour so much emotion , mood and feeling into a song , and leave you feeling as if you have just read a great novel, and watched an epic film all at the same time. I grew up with Queen and the love affair started in 1976 when my older brother would play their albums. Until I stole them for my own budding Queen collection. I love this song because it's so honest. It makes you feel both the love and the lack of it. Thank you for the remaster. Queen's music is never going to leave us because it speaks to the core of who and what we are.

Hi everyone , i went to see Brian , Cozy and his band back in 1993 in Birmingham... you all should have seen Brian that night when he performed this for the first time .... I ll just say ... there was not a dry eye in the house , including Brian himself .. and you know ? ... everybody there could tell how alone Brian seemed to be on stage , with the loss of Freddie and his Dad .. take care everyone...

I think a lot of us can say we’ve experienced moments in our lives where these lyrics tell the tale of a difficult time, but hopefully we’ve come through it on the other side and are better for it. The lyrics are raw emotions we can relate to in one way or another. It is an incredibly beautiful song, with one version sang by Freddie and the other by its creator, each unique and powerful in their own right. Thank you, Brian for this crown jewel.

I'm a die hard Freddie Mercury fan but Brian is just as amazing. He wrote this beautiful song 🎵 and I love his devotion to Queen even in his golden years. Love ❤️ you Brian....What a ride you guys had back in the days when Queen 👸 was the greatest band ❤️ to me. Your music helped me through the untimely death of my Dad in 1977. God Bless You Always 🙏 ❤️

I remember Brian first introduced this song in April 1992 on the Freddie Mercury Tribute live at Wembley, I could't believe my ears, one of the most wonderful and touching songs I ever heard!!!

It seems to me that it doesn't matter what language you speak and what language is your native - such strong compositions find a response in any heart, regardless of gender, race and nationality. Strong and beautiful song!
