He sounds so different in a calm interview rather than before or during the game. Lol. 👆👆👆

Die hard Tech fan here…….i hadn’t heard that commentary from Kittley about our secondary before. Gets me fired up!! I know the coaches have said multiple times how physical our corners are this year but great to hear about the size;speed component as well!

They told me the O-Line would be improved last year, so although I’m hopeful, I’ll need to see the improvement to believe it. They got absolutely dominated on the line of scrimmage at UT last year. Everyone wants to talk about keeping QBs healthy but it kind of helps if you have good pass pro. The news about the secondary is fantastic. That was the second biggest question mark for this team. The third biggest question is pass rushing. There’s guys that have potential but it was the same thing last year with Cole and Linton. Those guys had a ton of potential to rush the passer and then fell flat during the season. So again, I’ll believe it when I see it.

Absolutely true about TTUs schedule and whether podsters look at them. This trio has commented that they didn’t look at the schedules. TTUs schedule is even easier than KUs.

I’ll believe it when I see it. The team underperformed last year. This is a put up or shut up year for McGuire and the team given the program investment and the level of talent they’ve brought in.

O Line was so utterly atrocious last year I think your only option was to clean house, hence all the new faces. Can’t be any worse so I’m optimistic

They really were. The team was still so talented that we could still beat most teams in the country though. And you add the atrocious o line with injury prone qbs. It was a sad season. I hope Morton can stay healthy.

Texas is gone now in the big 12, time to hype up tech every year. It’s okay tho tech is used to their season being over by the beginning of November

OL is a question mark as they'll have new starters at 3 spots and shifted the long-time starting tackle inside so he can get pro looks inside. But those starters are all experienced vets who started here or elsewhere. New OL Coach and new players so a fair concern. Defense is really good everywhere except at edge/pass rush. LB and DB are manned by really good young players and even more highly recruited younger players. Improvement isn't guaranteed by any means but Morton was 6-2 last year playing with a shoulder injury that took away any long passes. Morton is very talented but has been injury prone. Depth at QB is improved a lot with Cam Brown and Elite 11 Hammonds. But the point here is you don't have to be better to have a much better record. There is no Oregon or UT on this schedule like it was last year. You miss Utah, KSU. Give Tech a loss for every top 25 type team they face and they still win 8.

@josephterrell2835 my only question I have is your guy only named 1 lb. I'm not up to date with tech defense but dnt you guys play with more then 1, lol. With a weaker front puts more pressure on the dbs. Wsu Arizona isu osu tcu are your road games, with wv. I put tcu on there not sure if they are good enough. 3 of these im sure are loses. So 9 to 7 wins. If Joey gets 9 even with this schedule he is making improvements. 8 or 7 is just treading water.
