Arnold’s upside is 10 times what Gabriel’s is

true, but he may not have the IQ of dillion as of now. he will develop and be better then him by year 3 though.

@@zoomdoof6107 true that IQ is it . Dillon had played in the same offense before. Jackson is basically helping build the new OU offense, here’s to hoping for a great season

OU offensive line.....will have more starts then any team in the SEC....JUST NOT TOGETHER

Using all that space in your head for Oklahoma.
The Oline talk isnt exactly correct. the projected starters have a combined 123 starts in college. Not together at OU but they are still an experienced bunch.

Oregon won't have a deep ball game this year...

@@marshalljankins4526 I understand that. Depends on the receiver and the defensive back. Gabriel had a lot of 50/50 balls. Fortunately OU fan here noticed our receivers handled it. But I definitely understand when you face the Ohio state and Michigan defensive backs. He’s a great college quarterback. But on deep balls the receiver definitely outruns Gabriel’s throws half the time. Just depends on the catch matchup.

@@marshalljankins4526 but I will tell you he’s clutch most the time. He almost got sacked in the cotton bowl and threw a perfect td pass to win the game. So don’t give up on him. I just say some wide receiver routes would be touchdowns instead of 40 yard jump balls. He’s a great competitor. So don’t give up on him. But I understand your concern.

Thankfully Oklahoma doesn’t play Georgia this year. We play all the other SEC big names, but not Georgia.

Not true. Jacob Sexton started the last 3 or 4 games at the end of the 2023.
John Hoover needs to get out of his Norman bubble- Texas Tech has had a ‘General Manager’ since the day Joey McQuire was hired!! I think Hoover is not up to speed on the college football outside of Norman!!!!

He must be talking about relevant teams!!😂
Come on John!!!Joey McQuire did this as soon as hired three years ago! SMH… only at OU!!
so ou is catching up to mama, the ohio state university, georgia, florida, and the like..., just just dont call them GM's ... okay. lets see how it plays out.
Its all new now, its gonna be a different animal, no more dogs chasing cats but bears fighting bears.
College football turning into a pro format isnt appetizing to me
Mike Norvell at FSU has set up a similar system. The GM, as I understand it, basically coordinates (manages) all are areas of "roster issues" - including recruiting, portal, scouting - as well as interfacing with NIL. He, in Norvell's case, works for Norvell.

Five words in, the answer is YES, Texas will be everyone's most hated team. Along the way, you'll learn to appreciate OU's former unsung role as the border wall that kept out the BS
STOP. OU hasn't even played a single game for/in the SEC. NOT ONE. I get it, we're excited with new beginnings in a new conference, but before y'all play "king maker" let them play the actual f***ING games. JESUS!

It’s not like OU has never played a team in the SEC. In fact, OU is 67-24-5 all-time against SEC teams.
