Ajax is in deep crisis with a veeeery bad transferwindow during the summer. Ajax doesn't have the midfield to feed him chances. He is a forward dangerous if he gets the ball in the 16. So he needs his midfield. The "experts" in the Netherlands say he is THE future forward for the Dutch national team. But I don't know yet. He has yet to show his form consistently throughout a full season. He has a few good games behind him right now tho. I think Zirkzee is better in finishing and more complete.

You can say it because of all the drama but we've only finished outside the top 3 twice in the last 6 years. Not that bad a curse really. Where have you been sitting in the league, out of interest? We're just juggling a band of misfits from about half a dozen managers philosophies, so we have no true identity, because they arent the right players to fit one style of play in a great enough proportion. Enough talent has been there to get us through, but this is certainly a new low, as the best talents are the developing ones now. I can't blame anyone but the Glazers for We can't attract the best anymore because we're a corporate circus until they realise its football that attracts the fans and draws the players and money into the club. Maybe they realise they've milked it as far as they can wholly, now straining off the remains with a drawn out sale to INEOS, still with fat fingers in the pie.

@@keithdechief1 all you said are the reasons why players and managers should stay away from that club. If you are a true Man U fan and finishing outside the top 3 in 6 years is good enough for you, you should be ashamed of yourself. Man U belongs to the top, competing with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, City.
