Phoenix Nights Series 1 Episode 4 'Singles Night' - It's singles night at the Phoenix club, and everyone at the club is looking. Brian is the most successful though, when he accidentally runs over a woman's feet before buying her a drink and talking the night away. Their relationship progresses, until he discovers she is actually investigating him for fraudulent disability claims. Elsewhere, Paddy strikes up a relationship with Holy Mary's daughter Mary.
Phoenix Nights Is The misadventures of club owner Brian Potter who is determined to make The Phoenix Club the best working men's club in Greater Manchester.

I swear one of the best comedy sitcoms ever made I only wish it lasted longer then 2 series fucking hilarious
God, I miss this man on the telly! I've watched most of his shows so often I more or less know them by heart. And yet there is always some little detail that you haven't noticed before that makes you laugh. Come back to us, Peter!

Pheonix nights was definately Peter's finest work (IMHO)- so well observed and a loving mocking of certain low rent clubs, so many good touches in this short clip, from the wiping away of the food crumb to the fireworks going off for the first kiss and the hilariously slow ascent to the bedroom with promises of what he's going to do!

It wasn’t just him loads of the comics had input in the programme. Think his ego then got in the way and it was never quite as good
Someone please get back Peter Kay back on our screens, TV hasn't been the same without his brand of comedy and humour, he always knew how to make everyone laugh. I miss this man so much.

Easy, for example; sit on a chair, legs together. Cross right leg over left (just above knee) ensure right leg outer calf is against left leg outer calf are close together, then just hook right foot around left ankle.
