Beer is fermented malt based beverage flavoured with hops. Brewers use water and malted barley to create a sweet liquid (called the wort), which they flavour with hops and ferment with yeast. The basic stages of brewing process include milling, mashing, wort separation (lautering), wort boiling, wort cooling, fermentation, conditioning, filtering and packaging.
