It's crazy to think that Shannon Doherty and Luke Perry and David Gail, the actor that played Stuart Carson are all deceased now. So sad but am grateful for the memories from my youth watching the show. And still watch the re-runs today on Pluto TV and streaming sites.

@NatDelfin this! and also Brenda was treated differently than Brandon for the simple fact that she caused problems for herself, and Dylan, and put herself in danger in the past, or do people have amnesia? they literally let her go to Mexico with Dylan, but she broke their trust, ran away with him, the same as when she went to Dylan to Palm Springs for the weekend and lied to her parents. Brandon NEVER did things like this back when they were in high school and still minors, so that's why Jim and Cindy were harsher with Brenda - because she did break their trust back in high school, Brandon didn't. the only time he did was when he got drunk and crashed his car, but this was an exception with Brandon, exactly because he was always so good and responsible, that he needed to rebel once. Brenda was a rebel all the time.

You can hate the truth all you want but the simple fact is, it's different for boys. boys can't get pregnant and usually, boys don't get raped, etc. girls can, and yes, it's a difference. Walshes are from the Midwest and they were always more conservative and they were simply worried. now parents let kids do whatever at 18, and many girls end up raped and murdered. I prefer having parents who care.

Brenda looked so dishevelled in season 4 , the hair is much worse than other seasons, no make up almost, pale as a ghost....you can really tell something was going on behind acenes

Jim and Cindy are such hypocrites. Brandon starts sleeping with Lucinda and never came home every night . In season 5, Brandon was sleeping with Kelly almost the entire year, went over to the apartment so often, and they didn't bat an eye. If she was at the U of Minnesota, she would have stayed out all night and no one would have known or cared.
