Do you ever need to change the bolts out? I was told on some GM models there is a problem and the bolts need to be replaced.

As always an excellent tutorial. What was your rationale for not removing from their boots, cleaning, and re-lubricating the caliper pins?

Good question. Being the vehicle has been garage for most of its life, the pins are in excellent shape. I simply peeled back the boot and there was no rust or debris.

The Brembo pads stop great but are noisy and wear out way too quickly. Time to go back to Akebono.

How are you wheels in such good condition? Did you get them refurbished and do you know the exact paint code for those rims?

I tend to clean them at least once per week. One wheel is refurbished. (The rear wheel in the video.) Stock refurbished wheels go for about $120/piece.

What do you mean? either you picked the wrong pads that don't match the make and model of your car, or what ever store you bought them from did not give you the correct pads. Got mine from Part Source, Made sure to ask, They will ask you for your make and model, engine size ect. Mines a 2006 Chrysler 300c 5.7L V8 Hemi.

Lost me when the lump hammer was used on the ring spanner. Use a socket and breaker bar.
