For an "educational video" it's rather upsetting to see SO MANY arboreal animals being crammed in horizontal enrichment-denying basic tubs. We can do better people, don't normalize this treatment towards animals. Reptiles need environmental enrichment and enclosures that are suited for the species.
We refer to our male cresties as having cresticles 😂
my first crested gecko baby just hatched two days ago and this video was so helpful
So male and female cresties can actually be kept together all year round if they get along?
Did I understand right: You keep your geckos year around and don't seperate the male and the female for a little period? I just heard so many different opinions, but it's interesting to hear yours. Of course it's important to take care of the female and look after her. But almost everyone is telling me I would have to seperate male and female for half of the year if I'd keep both of them...
The longer you watch the ads, the better it is for the channel.
Something I can’t find anywhere online is at what age is a male crested gecko done breeding? I have a 7 year old male I would like to breed, hasn’t been bred before, is he too old for breeding or..?
“Pair of balls” 🏈🏈 😄
Great video! Would love to know about calcium crash in the females, how long to keep a breeding pair together and humidity levels in enclosures for babies (what’s the ideal percentage range) thanks!
Thanks for sharing this info
That's really valuable information to feed Crested Gecko.
Thanks for great info! I just got my first crested gecko today. It’s a juvenile, so won’t be breeding anytime soon, but I am intrigued by the idea of breeding in the future!
Awesome new updated information thank you!!
Just what i needed 👍
For lay boxes use see through containers. So you can see if there's eggs without digging through the laybox
Can’t wait to see the gargoyle gecko breeding video >:) also love the thumbnail face lmaoo
Super awesome video 🥳🥳
super informative! thanks! did you make the rack system yourself?
You said you introduce pairs late winter/early spring. What months do you usually separate males and females for cool-down ? I currently have 1 pair.
Can you do a breakdown on the setup for the room? Where do you get the shelving units for the tubs?
