Sometimes when people have a panic attack they tend to focus on inhaling and trying to get in even more air when their lungs are full, with an exercise like this we focus on extending the exhale to help us calm down and breathe normally.

Panic attacks are so hard! They can overtake you. But you are stronger then it! This breathing exercise really helped me calm down a bit.
That went so quick! It felt like I was just at the beginning and then he said to open my eyes… fantastic meditation, thank you 🙏

6 mins felt like 1
I was in a full “panic attack.” I tried deep breathes and holds. Nothing worked for 20+ minutes. My heart was beating all over the place. My wife found this, and after playing the five minute message, I was 100% back to normal. I never thought it would work to that degree. Now, every day, I stop mid morning and afternoon just to dissipate any stress. THANK YOU MIKE!! You changed my life! Update: after 2 months, not only have I not had any panic episodes, my heart palpitations have decreased considerably. Nearly zero. I spent several weeks following the 20 minute guided breathing. Between these two, it has been life changing. Sometimes while driving or really almost anywhere I'll breath in and out slowly. I'm convinced this dissipates any stress that might have otherwise presented itself physically via a panic attack. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rIF5qKSGYNOrgdo.html

@@gayatrisangale2468 This five minute exercise should work if you follow it exactly. Be sure to use headphones to eliminate outside noise. For me, I used this technique 2-3 times a day regardless how I felt. Dissipate the stress before it becomes a panic attack. Also, I began the 20 minute once per day Guided Coherence Breath Exercise by Aria Breath. This is supposed to "reset" your parasympathetic nervous system. For me it worked. No panic attacks for months now. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rIF5qKSGYNOrgdo.html

i used to watch this video six months ago when i was going through a spout of severe depression and anxiety and insomnia. i’d watch this when i was trying to go to sleep but i couldn’t or if i was having an anxiety attack. coming back to this video just to help me fall asleep early tonight and it made me realize how far i’ve come with mental health. as soon as i heard that bell i was rushed with the old feelings i had. thank you, you were a huge part in my recovery even though it’s just a five minute video. 🥰
You are a blessing to humanity. Wish you all the success. You simplify not just breathing and meditation but LIFE as a result. Your guiding calm voice is the secret ingredient here.

Hi
I hope anyone practicing this will have a good day ❤️
This breathing guide is good, thank you. I had bone crushing depression and anxiety related digestive issues; the best thing I did was turn to the Lord Jesus and read His word; I compiled a list of affirmations based on the truth of His word and I say them every morning when I get up, after prayer and thanking Him for another day. The affirmations have been life changing. He loves us so much, and He can heal you from the trauma you’ve suffered. I pray you turn to Him and find the joy & peace only He can offer.
As a 15 year old who deals with bad stress from time to time Thank you for this 🙏!!:).
This video has helped me every day for so long now. If y’all have stomach issues that make it feel like you’re going to faint or give birth, listen to this video and let him take over your breathing patterns.
I have come here almost every single morning for a few years now. I have a hard time breathing in a proper pace when I wake up, this has helped me catch my breathe before I pass out. My stomach pains are bad in the morning so this helps me breathe and not be alone
I just went from a nervous breakdown to almost falling asleep due to deep relaxation and warmth flowing through my body within these 5 minutes. This has to be one of my favorite meditations, the music, the soothing voice and the simple guidance are truly perfect. Thank you so much 🤍
Thank you so much
When i hear your intro and the bell i know its the start of something great, thank you🙏🙏🙏
I listen to this EVERY single morning for a long time now. My breathing is not the strongest and there are times I lose my breath, especially if I’m in pain at all my breath is the first to go and my body starts to panic. This helps me find my feet

Blessings for this one simple thing we can do and feel better
I'm struggling with PTSD at 63. God Bless you ❤
I just had my 8th chemo and came home to rest I struggle afterwards to rest because of the steroids I am given..... This video was a random choice and my God you helped me alot so wanted to say a massive thanks... It really helped me just now
Thank you. I was unable to refill my meds for a bit and my chest tightness has been bad. This made me smile and laugh with happiness for the first time today just because of how good I felt after.
I did this after a busier day than anticipated, and lots of worries and fatigue. This was just what I needed to help unwind. Many guided meditations are long, but some of us need a quicker fix like this.
This is way better than 4-7-8 breathing. I have health anxiety and get light headed and chest pain and really cold sometimes. This meditation really helped. 4-7-8 makes me even more light headed and I panic even more.
I came for Wim Hof, but stayed for the serenity.

It just so happened I needed a moment to myself and your video that came up first. Your voice is very calming and this breathing meditation was exactly what I needed. I appreciate you sharing your gift. This was wonderful. Thank you.

I'm blessed to have a nice garden. As I sit in the garden and breathe nicely and deeply, i can smell the fresh scent of summer shrubs. I've always said this...........it's the simplest things in life that truly make us happy. Strive for simplicity.
More of these please Mike, your voice is very relaxing, with much gratitude 🙏🏻
This is a nice way to help me incorporate deep breathing into my daily lifestyle when I’m feeling anxious or worried 😌
This was so gentle, which is what I needed. Thank you for this ❤
Thank for for this! I listen to this every night before I go to sleep. My only wish is that it there was a longer version
Thank you! I needed this today. As a teacher, I always do mindfulness breathing and exercises with my kids but it was Saturday morning and I thought why not try it for myself too.

Thanks for the video. FYI I have been following your video and found myself fall to sleep half way or when video is finishing. Fall to sleep doesn’t give me problem since I’m doing this at home. But may I know your method in this video supposedly will or won’t trigger sleepy? If i fall into sleep in between doesn’t it mean I do not relax enough? Or relax too much?

Thanks I had a dream that kinda traumatized me and I couldn't get over it. I was just brainwashed and I could just watch as someone went around killing my pet animals. Now you helped me to know it was not real, I still have all my pets, and brainwashing isn't possible. I was crying for like 10 minutes in a panic attack and my mom had to comfort me through everything and told me to listen to this.
