Marissa Elene Nadieja is completely original and she is a genius! She is the BEST EVER!!!!!!!! She is the best composer/singer EVER!!!!!!!! Agreed... Plastic trees n' talk show host are great .. sheee-it,,, all them are great..Pixies,Radiohead,Queen/Bowie,Portishead,A-Ha, Tears for Fears,Jefferson Airplane,Floyd, FN Led Zepplin, Janis, N.I.N. !!!( I thought her version of Hurt was superior to Cash's and the layered vocals at the end were fkn CHOICE!!!! Lol) Hopefully the list continues to astonish all of us fans.. This girl can fn put it down.. Wish I could drum with her as she is playing.. idk, if she has a looper (looks like she has a lot of shit lol ! ) but it sure would be fun.!! I don't know any other girls that play like her. Idk,, maybe that girl that sings in Pretty Enemy.??They do a great cover of Gimme Shelter and yes she plays lead too.. Kills It.!! Lol I love when Alex gets all shreddy on the electric.. I don't know how but the guitar chords in breathe always feel like drawing in a deep breath. Then the lead guitar comes in and you just feel utterly relaxed. I remember listening to the song once during an unhappy period of my life as the sun came up over the coastline of a volcanic island in the canaries. I waited around until I eventually got to Great Gig in the Sky and watched the waves crash into each other. I even found this small like cave or nook in a cliff face and sat there for a little while. Truly one of the most magical memories of my life so far. I'm going back to the country for the last time in a few weeks and plan on returning to that cave.
