Exactly. The best cover I had ever seen before this is/was by Viviane Donner, of Argentinian(?) Pink Floyd cover band 'Atom'.

She GETS it! I've heard many versions of this, and the vocals always sound like someone trying to do an American Idol version. This has a range of emotion. It's primal. Wonderful.

Stuff like American Idol promotes the thought that if you can’t sing, you can’t be a musician and playing an instrument doesn’t matter. It also takes away from people singing those ‘primal’ videos and not using your diaphragm and instead using your head voice.

Yessir indeed It seems there is no improvisations (as many people who tried to cover this had many improvising parts), just true to the original recording. And that is what makes it even better than many covers of this song in KZread, it's one of the only ones that stay true to the originals.

Holy sh*t the female vocalist is absolutely killing it on this!!! This is an insanely hard song to cover vocally. Many people can hit the notes, but not bring the grit and soul like on the studio recording. Whew loving this!!!

You might want to recheck your lyrics..... You have the word "Afraid" quoted twice and it is not in the song anywhere ever....... I am pretty sure they go like this.... "And I am not frightened of dying, anytime will do, I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying; I see no reason for it, you've got to go sometime" "I never said I was frightened of dying"

This one is very good as well. Unlike most live performances, Amy Smith does the whole three segment herself. Pink Floyd and other PF cover bands tend to use 3 girls as the song is so demanding and difficult for one performer. Incredible!!!!!!! Just incredible!!!!!!! In all my years of listening to this song and the many covers there of I have never heard a good a job as this!!!!!! For a few moments I thought I was watching and listening to the actual studio recording of Pink Floyd and Clare Tory..... I have even heard Clare sing it live and she sucked compared to you!!!!!! What an angelic voice you have and what a beautiful girl you are!!!!!!! WOW incredible!!!!!!

I was fortunate to see the best Floyd tribute band on the planet… BRIT FLOYD just the other night with some good friends at the SHOW Theater in Rancho Mirage California and to those out there who want to see and hear the best representation of their work I highly recommend seeing this band…. I am 56 and have seen dozens of tribute bands over the decades and the show i saw the other night was possibly one of the best concerts I have ever seen, they were that good and this song they played with the solo vocal my their vocalist was absolutely brilliant…. If You love Pink Floyd in any fashion, in your lifetime you must see them without a doubt…. They were that good!! Cheers to all the PF fans and for keeping their timeless music alive since 1965… Man we are all getting old… lol🎸

I'm no music engineer, but after 50yrs of listening to Floyd and this being one of my top two songs, I would say that this band and the young lady did an exceptional job! BRAVO!

Absolutely. Saw roger waters on his tour like two years ago and they played this song - the vocals were not nearly on this level.

The musicianship, outstanding. The singing, was supernatural. This cover is magnificent.

You guys should be proud of yourselves for two reasons. One, for being Pink Floyd fans, and Two, for delivering the best cover version of this song to date.

Hands down the best singing attempt ive ever heard cover this song. Period.

My Dad once told me that when he first heard this song he thought of an angel singing that part. I've always heard it to be true, now I can see it's true!

Que topppp. Sou fã incondicional do pink floyd. Essa cover superou minhas expectativas. Vocal simplesmente incrivel. Banda sem palavras. Com lágrimas nos olhos.

It mesmerized me the first time when I was in my teens, and every time since for decades. The vocals are timeless if done right and she knocks it out of the park…

Still, in my opinion, the best cover of this song.

Freaking nailed it - every part, and unbelievable vocals - best I've heard, equals Clare.

Okay... so I'm sitting here in absolute tears. Lilian is amazing... she simply moved me. I'm utterly sobbing. Thank you.

I cannot stop hearing this version over and over. It looks very similar like the original but, this has something different I cannot explain.

I started crying when the vocals came in. Nicely done 👍🏻

I can confidently say that, in my opinion, this is the best vocal cover i have seen in my entire life. The power in her voice, the intrumentals, everything is made to perfection.

One of the most beautiful music in human history

lol I think I watched like 30+ covers searching for the ultimate cover of this song. This is the first cover that I watched from this channel and they didn't disappoint me. I will never watch or look for another cover again because this is absolutely the closest and the only one that can be compared with Clare's studio version. Even the back-up singers of Pink Floyd from any DSotM concert since the '70s can't even beat this.

Absolutely amazing performance by all, but in particular by the vocalist, Lilian Ximenes. There are many who have attempted to sing this song but fell far short of doing it justice. While IMO no one will ever equal Clare Torry's original recording, this is as close as I have heard anyone come to doing so. Bravo!

I’ve listen to to this song since I was a teen in the 70’s when I purchased Dark Side of the Moon album. This song I played over and over and it’s not like you could press a button and replay you’d lift the arm of the turntable which caused scratches. With my mom yelling to turn it down. 🙆🏻‍♀️😊 but anyway This is the first cover that gets closest to the original. Loved it 🖤💥💥💥 all the notes at the right time make the difference
