Breath of Fire III (PSX) - Final Boss and Good Ending

Time to finish business with the goddess once and for all.
Myria has a bunch of different things going on for her. She goes through 3 phases of attacks as you lower her 20k HP down.
She has a fairly potent physical attack, and initially can cast Inferno, Blizzard, Myjollnir and Sirocco to cover fire, water, electric and fire+wind damage respectively, can cause paralysis with Evil Eye, more bad statuses with Venom (notably confusion which sucks), and can cancel your buffs with Sanctuary.
After losing half of her HP, she'll add Holocaust, a massive party wide non-elemental spell, and Restore to heal herself about 300 HP. After a bit she'll start casting Death to try and instakill your characters.
She can be quite a dangerous boss if you come in unprepared, or if you really screw up your characters' stat growths with poor master use. Most importantly to bring to the fight is status protection - there's a bunch of rare equipment that helps, but Protector shields + Light Bangles are perfect if RNG was particularly bad for you. Confusion sucks and paralysis is horrible so getting those out of the way is high priority.
You can weather down her elemental attacks by using elemental rings. The most important element to defend against is fire since she has 2 attacks with it, so chances are you'll see this a lot more often than the others. Ryu's dragon equipment all absorb fire so he's good to go; Garr has natural fire resistance so he's also ok. You can put everyone under Ladon because he gives a bonus to fire resistance. Be careful with Peco because he has a natural fire weakness. The other elemental rings you can distribute amongst your characters whoever you see fit, but remember that the member up front in most formations has a higher chance to be hit by single target attacks, and that includes Myjollnir. Avoid using Chain formation at all costs, she'll just tear you apart with it.
When she starts using Holocaust, she'll stop casting Sanctuary, so now is a good time to use Barrier to protect against magic damage. Sanctuary in general isn't too much of a big deal, so while you shouldn't go all in buffing from the beginning, keep up some buffs like War Shout, Barrier or Shield if you have the turns to spare (a character on support role is nice for this). Once she drops Sanctuary, you can abuse buffs and the battle is basically won.
Kaiser form and Aura taking point in Attack formation is super wreckage. The other members can be anyone you want, but preferably have a secondary DPS to supplement Ryu, and a support character to cast Barrier and War Shout, plus throw items when needed. Not too bad. If you can't use Kaiser due to low AP, you can get by with Warrior forms or Myrmidon, but make sure you buff Ryu's defense.
