The fact that Stan and Bow thinks Ryu is joking makes it even sadder.

Though BoF3 is my favorite game of all time, 2 still falls in my personal top 10. My only real gripe about the game was that it never truly explored feelings Katt and Nina had for Ryu. Especially Nina. She was written as being a person that is quiet and purposely trying not to stand out because of the prophecy. But her outburst at the end showed there was potentially a whole story arc in there to be had.

tbh nina destroys the whole game series. since she is constantly pushed in as love interest which absolutely doesn'T fit or suit ryu and his purposes in each game. reminds me of tifa in final fantasy or kairi in kngdom hearts. i loved bof3 nina as child and even grown up if there were no weird romantic implications because again- ryu is above them and it destroys the whole depth . also at least bof 2 here has a better ending. in bof3 i just can't see the good ending as good and bad ending as bad . to me the "friends" messed up actually and myria did the only good things....we also never know what happens in the end

Yeah but it clearly states in this game bof 2 here when Nina is trying to activate great bird transformation In windia; The spirt of Nina from 1st game said there tribe became weaken because she had been with a man form another clan. (Has to be the original Ryu). So it was pretty much confirmed once from this game no less.

"Cries with a smile" :') Who all came here to relieve those memories when you first played this game? :') This game makes me cry so bad. BOF series needs new entries......Sadly Capcom isn't hearing our voices......

#1 game of all time for me. Such good characters and a unique and complex storyline for the time.

I wish Bleu has an ending that referenced her adventure in the previous game as well as a useful overworld ability. Bleu is a better name for her than Deis in my opinion.

This make me sad....

@@argiegaronia6373 yeah I was really excited some years ago when they announced a new BoF, and then it turned out to be a mobile game with no story. Man it sounds stupid but I really cried from disappointment. I hope this series gets again the love it deserves.

Sad this gem never had any good follow up after the lame BOF 5... Still is there a group or a forum I can join to discuss things about this game? BOF is my top rpg even though it didn't become famous just as the other RPG's today :( Love your vid

How about Rand? He's not a secret character, so I'd assume he has his lil speech?

Which version of the game is this? The dialogue is more detailed and the font looks different than that of the SNES version.

It's the SNES version but they used a retranslation patch

Deis doesn't have one because she's a secret character.

@@sdlock83 That makes sense, she's the same Deis in every generations of games. She's practically immortal.

How do you tailor the ending to the character? Is it party position? How often they were in the party?

I remembaer Katt is crying over me and it was so sadd... I made a love story between ryu and her and i dont know it's bad ending 😢

Pretty sure that's the retranslation patch for the SNES version. GBA version still had the bad translation I think.
