Breast Cancer | Anita's Story | Stand Up To Cancer
At just 24 years old, Anita was planning her dream wedding with her fiancé, Scott - but she was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer. Her cancer was aggressive and she had to start treatment including the removal of her right breast, chemotherapy, Herceptin and fertility treatment. Anita and Scott made the decision to cancel their wedding to focus on her treatment.
*UPDATE*: Anita and Scott were able to set a date in 2018 and got married in front of family and close friends in June. Anita said: “On the day, I forgot all about cancer - for once it wasn’t the first thing on my mind.”

It has been ten years since my own breast cancer....here I am. My hair never did come back thanks to my chemo, one drug the maker knew demolished my follicles. Bald is beautiful, because I am alive. Hilman Caner Center is fantastic.
Cancer Sucks!! I lost my mom to Brain Cancer 4 years ago,.I miss her like crazy every single day! It's hard to find anything positive when your Love one is going through hell, but even in the darkest of moments, there's always something to be thankful for! Thanks God this young lady in the above video has such a loving partner and family, some people fight cancer with little to no support, but thankfully she's not one of them!♥️

There will come a day when you don't think about it. I am 13 years out of having a 7.5cm tumour in my left breast. I had a mastectomy chemo and radiation. I don't let it bother me now. I am still happilly married. And I still have a lot to live for.

I looked it up on the stand up to cancer website and they got married in 2018 and had a child in 2019. Fingers crossed they are all happy and going strong.

My mum found out she had breast cancer in 2007 she had her left breast taken away she never got over it young lady couldn't look in the mirror my mum was exactly the same she hated the way she looks she thought she looked ugly she didn't feel like a woman so she took her bed she stayed in bed until the day she died which she is breast cancer free but her body just shut down on her because she had walked he stayed in bed I looked after her for 12 years that's how long she stayed in bed and she passed away in 2019 from bronchial pneumonia

@@gordanazakula4927 We are all sinners Gordana, Jesus loves you, simply pray to Our heavenly Father and speak to Him as you would a dear friend, confess your sins and ask for forgiveness Jesus is just and faithful to forgive you. Spend time in His living Word.
