Sir this mental barrier thing plays very important role in our trading plan. I used to exit my positions before either hitting SL or tgt in order to tackle fomo. But after realization of mistake, i took atleast 20 trades and waited till they hit tgt or SL. I helped me to over come my mental barrier and made my mind capable of handling wins and losses.

You post only one video in a week but I can't tell u how much I learn thru them every week. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. So lucky to have found you in my early trading days.

🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼Thanks for calling it out loud....This definitely is a difficult Market! Not been able to trade index for past 2 weeks IT trade is where I'm facing some mental barrier.... I hope I can hold till that pivot plus scale in later. Liked your method of doing it with 30-30-30, I usually use 20-40-20-20 . Maybe that's the reason I'm not able to scale beyond 80% position size 2 out of 3 times. Position size and risk management are the only saving grace! Still hoping for a miracle in the winning positions. Right now, the winners in my portfolio matter more than the losers to give a sense of direction! P.S. : I had to mention this again.....your warning in midcap space was at the right time. Atleast whatever happens hereon, maybe within limitations of my understanding!

Thank you, sir! Past trades are such a way to set our standards up..Beginners should always focus on this the same way they do chart reading. I always document my trades in a PPT with respect to entry(early,correct,late), exit at loss/profit(early,correct,late), adds and see the areas where I have to improve. Based on the results, I found If I could improve selling into strength and avoid loose setups, I can seriously improve my results. Sir, Can you provide any simple suggestion for: 1. Selling into Strength (unless it's parabolic) Is it purely based on R:R? How do you play for larger moves? 2. Adding to existing positions (if no proper base for additions)? I see you use fixed % to scale in particularly in the case of small, mid cap names.. Thank you so much for your time ❤️

Thanx mentor.. My biggest mental block is to avoid FOMO and position sizing. Lately I have been seeing lot of lessons from David Ryan and mark Richtie-II . Since my traing is not going well so I have reduced exposure and allocation per stock recently. And because of this I have not lost much in recent time. Thanx once again.

I have 2 mental barriers, hope you can help: 1. Even after getting into right stock at right time, I am not able to hold and ride the trend. I get out at paltry 5-10% returns and take bigger losses on downside. 2. Not able to allocate enough quantites when I am right, nor able to increase quantities when I do see a rising trend.

Thank you for the insight into ourselves. I totally agree with your observations. I have found that simplification as a tool has helped me to avoid some of these barriers I.E. Only take long trades and sit in money market funds with a current 5% APR when out of positions. Using 50/100/200 EMA as a guide for position sizes has also helped. I use these tools because they help me through my inadequacies as a trader. Sometimes knowing and then acknowledging our own weakness actually becomes a great strength. A famous Clint Eastwood line from one of his movies was "a man has to know his limitations". This is true in all walks of life.

Much needed video during current period. When i look at social media by some of the so called expert of stocks breaking out and getting exceptional results during current period and at the same time my trading strategy suggesting me to to stand out, i really fells like may be something wrong with me but your today’s video boost me with the self confidence. Thanks for such great content at perfect time. Your timing for videos are as perfect as your timing for trading 😀

One of the mental barrier that i am facing is regarding selling a stock. When i see one of my stock is running very rapidly to new highs and i feel that i should sell it. My current practice is i sell half qty during this rapid run and wait for important pivot failure for remaining half quantity. But during pivot failure i feels like i should have sold full quantity earlier and book more profit and ultimately what i do is stay with remaining qty even after pivot failure in the hope of getting one more chance for top and ultimately loosing even more profit. Can you suggest how you are planning your sell order or how can i overcome this problem. I usually do a positional trading with daily and weekly chart. Thanks

Raunak sir could you suggest some exit strategies as per stock movement after taking positions... when to exit when you are in profits? At +20% we aim for +50% but then stock turns sideways and remains at +20% we exit the stock but then next move started...

Hi, Sir I am a big fan of you. My mental barrier is whether I should go for 10 to 20 percent in very short periods like 1 or 2 weeks or I should go for 50 to 80 percent in slightly longer periods like 4 to 6 months. I can find stocks which can give me that kind of Returns. My capital is 15 to 20 lacs. I should have to earn Rs. 40000 per month(monthly expenses) as there is no other income. Please advice me what should I do.

Me n my mama are trading We both got barrier in terms of position sizing. Im bit aggressive hence i build heavy positions He has a bit investor approach , hence he build very slow position and very negligible kind of qty. How to counter this

Sir, What is ur take on stocks like LTTS, Mphasis n Coforge.?These stocks were our leaders when we had just started tracking IT sector but now they have either violated pivots or very close to violating pivots., whereas stocks like Dixon, sonata software, Bsoft were my late entries with small position sizes since I didnt trust their move, but they seem to be holding up very well. Can you please explain this? Why the leaders have cracked up so much while the stocks I thought were laggards holding up even in this dicey market conditions. ?
