Hey Raunak, nice and detailed video. Just a little clarification on long term investment. Do you mean positional trade (6 months - 1 year types period) as long term investment or you mean long term investment is investing for 5-10 years types. Please clarify.

With 15 -18 L be a part time trader and focus on compounding with equities.

My style : 50% : day trade 50% : swing trade And 30% monthly profits goes to investments. My takeaway from this video : Have a frugal lifestyle in starting 4-5 years of trading . Right now I am 25 so I will be compounding my money and till 30 then I will marry someone ( hopefully) . Till then I shall have good emergency funds and investments. I live in very small town so we can easily manage to live a life with 25k as house expenses ( this includes everything) I live with my parents so no rent or anything. I was so worried about myself but this video helped me in seeing different perspective. My cost of living life is way smaller than others. I can easily have a king lifestyle with frugal money.

My edge is that I'm in no hurry to go full time. I'm 28 now, plan is to become a full time trader when I'm 45. I have all the time to learn and perfect the skills till then while building the corpus! Having a stable job gives one the luxury to take things a bit easier and not lose track in hurry. People often don't recognise this.

The only secret to full time trading. 1.amount of capital 2.ability to protect the capital 3.option selling for consistent returns. 4.Managing expectations eg..understanding the value of 3k in a month on 1 lac is same as 3 lakh on 1 crore.

Hi! Raunak, Many thanks for this lovely series. This is the level of planning required to be financially free at an early age. I am sure several young followers will benefit from this series and will be able to meticulously plan their future. May I also request you to do a series on investment framework (if time permits) which can help several followers in building decent size retirement corpus. Sooner one plans their retirement the better it is for compounding to show its magic. Unfortunately, in the early years of one's career, we are more focused on maintaining our lifestyle than retirement planning due to ignorance. By the time that realization comes, we have lost critical 10-15 years of compounding money.

I urge you if you can also do a small series either free or paid about the tools and setup required to become a professional trader. This is where most traders don't have guidence and first hand knowledge. If you can give glimpse of your trading setup and tools it must more than enough

Well these kind of videos really put a smile on my face. I still remember how terrified my Aunt was between 2008 and 2009 period. I understood the importance of two things, one is an emergency fund and another is never ever overspend. The very last quote "Focus on skills rather than just profits " is the true Holy Grail. Personally I am way too much into protecting my capital and executing my plans with respect to risk and reward. I see there is a misconception as full-time trading is the ultimate path to financial and time freedom. That's not true. One need to work really hard to earn a penny, irrespective of any field. Learned so much from you in terms of technical and psychological aspects. Can't thank you enough for the knowledge which you have shared with a stranger like me. Lucky to be your student. Well sir I am on the path of learning charts and am learning a thing and will keep repeating same thing again and again to become really good at it. So your video confirms I am on right path. I will learn first make some capital and then think to become full time trader. Also after watching this video I understand that options selling is good if you can read charts so I am learning that and am sure in next 1 year I will improve a lot and in that time we will see ups and downs in markets and start understanding markets behavior. Thanks for options parts I had never thought about it. Your advice is taken. I will not fall for it till I am sure about it. Safety first. Capital protection first. One more update sir I am still getting up early and doing my excercises daily and feeling better, don't feel sleepy in afternoon can concentrate better on work. Both office work and reading charts.
