This video poster's brain has fallen and can't get up. 1) Previous SCOTUS decisions have affirmed restrictions as constitutional. That's also historical precedent to be overturned. 2) ALL arms and weapons will be unregulated? Wake up! That would include fragmentation grenades, RPGs, chemical and bio-weapons, mines, armed drones, explosive vests... . Tanks and A10 Warthogs, if "bearing" includes driving vehicles. Some here, of course, will happily nod "yes". 3) This is based on a single sentence from Clarence Thomas, a ninth of SCOTUS, as he interprets recent SCOTUS decisions. Please review his interpretation of gift$ and goodie$ from his buddy Harlan Crowe and his decision to stop reporting them for the past 20 years so that we can give his legal judgment all the scrutiny it deserves. 4) Make the above weapons readily available and you will find that also having them at hand will not make you safer than before. You'll only be safer having them than not having them IN A NEW SITUATION OF YOUR OWN MAKING. A side benefit is that some won't need Viagra as often, though.

If we want to know what the Constitution really says, use the Websters 1828 Dictionary. Arms are 'weapons of offense, or armor for defense and protection", war hostility. In law, arms are anything which a man may take in his hand in anger, to strike or assault another. So it seems canons and nukes can be regulated, but if you can carry it, it seems to be covered by Arms.

@r3steve1 Granulated plutonium and anthrax spores are portable but covered by other regulations. Rats! But shoulder-launched missiles are okay. Well, as long as a good guy with a Javelin is around to counter the bad guy with his Javelin... . Are there any LAWS rockets still around? Claymores? And is concealed carry okay for Stingers down by the end of a runway, or just open carry? As long as the 767 is packing a Stinger, too, it's all good ... right? No? But why should a law-abiding bearer of a Stinger have his 2nd Amendment rights restricted b/c of the actions of criminals? Why, indeed? More Stingers, less shoot downs. Criminals will always get Stingers. [edit: And I forgot "Stingers don't shoot down planes, people shoot down planes"] The logic is impeccable.

What is the point in even having the Supreme Court if people are not bound to follow its decisions? If the Executive Branch truly is the one tasked with enforcing their rulings, how is it possible that an administration can decide (on their own) which rulings they will and will not apply. This would seem to be in direct contrast to the oath of office that they took. Are you saying tjat there is no standard with which to hold them accountable? Surely any act in direct violation of the Constitution (such as the Executive Branch not following the rulings of the Supreme Court ) should be considered a direct violation of his oath of office. His neglect to follow the rulings should be side-stepped by Congress and enforced as the true law of the land. What we have now, with our current setup, is a "dog with no teeth". The Supreme Court determines the Constitutionality of a law. Their rulings should be enforced. If they (SC) finds a law unconstitutional, that law is abandoned. By the same token, if a law is found to be Constitutional, I would expect it to be upheld.
