Still never gotten to do the Whole Enchilada, only the PAAHTIAL Chimichanga. Always too snow-covered when I'm out there in March. That upper stuff looks so sweet, might have to make a special trip at some point.

looks epic!! How long does it take to descend?

Nice footage! Peak colors are usually around Sept 25 or so, but they're late this year. Looks like you hit it right. That incline at 14:40 is way steeper than it looks on camera, huh? For us old guys, the shuttle is 55 minutes....pee before you go! Looking forward to part 2.

How did you choose between the hightower and the hightower lt? I'm currently very on the fence between a hightower lt and a fezzari la sal peak. I ride mostly trail in New England. Curious what you would recommend!

Man, gotta get back there someday. 1st week of october when we went last year, and it was snow covered all the way down to LPS... But the rest was sick!

Trail Lady MTB the HT is 140 in the rear, with a 150 fork. My Megatower is 160/160. The only problem with bringing such a big bike is that the other trails we rode we did a lot of climbing, so it would stick to half to lug all that bike up hill.

@@jctrails Whenever I go on a trip I just grab my big bike... not like the uphills on a trip are a race and I've found it's just way more fun. As with most trips the descending outweighs the climbing almost 2-1 with shuttles so I'd rather always have the bigger bike

So torn between getting the 2020 Bronson vs. 2020 Hightower... Are you still riding the Bronson? Your POV demo ride from last year made it appear much more nimble and fun.

Are the graphics just vinyl decals? Ease of install and durability? Love the blue color, but the tan graphics don't fit. I'd love the orange graphics from the full tan bike on the blue one. The neon yellow looks pretty sick too.

Hey ! Really loved all the info! Super helpful! I’m looking for my first real bike. I live in the PWN . Looking for a good all rounder as I can only have one bike atm. I’m currently looking at the Hightower aluminum R vs the S build(any other good do it all bike recommends are welcome around this price point.) have any thoughts on those two builds? Worth going up ? Thanks!

The S build will give you best bang for your buck. The better suspension and drive train are worth the upgrade.

Beautiful scenery there. Too bad you guys couldnt hook up with MTB YUM YUM, he lives somewhere in Utah, he's VERY fast up and down and always has a new bike himself. Since you're from MA were you ok with that heat?

I'm 5,9" and picked up a medium today and it fits perfectly.

DUDE! When were you there? I was just there and I must have missed you. I was on the Hightower as well, the tan color. Seemed I was the only one on a Hightower. My video is coming soon. Love what you're doing man. Did you keep the Megatower too? I did see a few megatower's there can you believe it? They were being pushed up Burrow pass, as was every bike, lol.

Tyler Frisbie I got a medium and I’m 5’10” with a 31” inseam. I could ride a large too but I use this bike on my local trails which are really tight.

B line sender I prefer the HT over the 130. Their is no learning curve riding the HT. The 130 is way to slack for a trail bike which makes it a handful to ride in tight trails. I would say La Sal is a better descender than the HT but it is a full blown enduro bike.

Hell ya man that's what I like to hear. Maybe I need to try a hightower. I love my sb130 but the rear is not as plush as i expected it to be but the bike is fun...I'm pretty sure sb130 and htnhave same headtube angle...not sure reach

Did you get the Medium size like the one you demoed?

Currently Hd absolutely.

I wish Santa Cruz had more color options to choose from. Whoever comes up with these color combos should be fired. The only decent looking color in my opinion is the two tone grey and matte green. The blue is ok but the letter colors are horrible. I like the bikes, just not the colors, they only have two colors for some of their bikes and that just doesn't make sense to me.
