If anything it’s a compliment to him, plays plus plus defense on top of being one of the best hitters in the league

Acuna is now the best all around player in baseball. Way back when, Stan Musial also had the same extreme separation with his hands.
Why do we not have this guy on staff in Atlanta? I know we already got Chipper as the hitting coach, but what an expert breakdown.

He's regurgitating what he's been told
He’s been playing like a man on a mission 100%. I think he heard all the chatter after last year. People seem to forget he was coming off that ACL. The year that he got hurt, he was on MVP pace. I still firmly believe if he didn’t get hurt, he was mvp that year. Now he’s making the same case this year. It’s been fun to watch, even better as a Braves fan.

as a Phillies fan, Acuna is one of my favorite players, even more so than Bryce. Also, only somewhat related, but whatever happened to Kevin Maitan? IIRC, he and Acuna were coming up about the same time. Early scouting reports had pegged Maitan as like the next Willie Mays or something lol
My favorite baseball player.

Funny how they claimed the shot to the third deck in LC at Citi Field was only 448 feet. If that was Alonso we would be talking about how it is 480+ and one of the longest HRs of the season. Even the Mets announcers after he hit it said that might be the farthest ball they have ever seen hit there during a game and that even though there have been balls to reach the third deck; they dont believe they have seen one hit that far towards CF. For perspective; the ball came off the bat at 115 mph.

@@kurtwagner350 based on his farm system, funny how shohei and Pacquiao gets accused of using yet guys like cespedes Palmerio Soto Machado come out from systems where it's known the coaches feed them peds to get the million $ deals by MLB. Yeah insiders knew all them used and teams know it but they don't care. If ever caught they come back soon enough and everyone shrugs

Acuna did this in 2019...was doing it in 2021 till injury...this has always been there, nothing new except experience.
