Breaking Bad actor Jonathan Banks character's tragic death was a mistake

Комедия

'Hiking With Kevin' host, Kevin Nealon, chats with Breaking Bad's JONATHAN BANKS as they navigate a Malibu Canyon. Jonathan shares how his house burnt to the ground, his time on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, the death of his character, Michael Ehrmantraut, being raised by a single mother, rattlesnakes, the Chumash tribe, rock climbing, gambling point-spreads, getting his ass kicked plus more.

I will be so genuinely sad if Jon doesn’t live to 150. He is such a great actor and so genuine and kind. Breaking Bad and Saul would be nothing without him.

I always love the end of an episode, because you can see Kevin is still clearly on the hike but the guest is nowhere to be seen. I’m concerned he’s pushing these people into a ravine and leaving them to die so he can close the episode.

Speaking of rattlesnake mating season, it would've been cool it you had happened upon a couple of males doing the dominance dance thing. Also, speaking of reptiles, I must admonish Johnathan for harassing the lizard 🙂. It's nice to know that he's aware of the Chumash heritage(and a little incensed about the lack of info at the visitor center)--I''d wager very few hikers have a clue about them. By the way, I think he deserves a better image in the thumbnail. Until next time, happy trails!

The better spinoff would of been Jonathan playing Mike Ehrmantraut Security Consultant. That was a fascinating episode. Not joking.

Jonathon did not disappoint! Wouldn't have missed it, great hike with a tough old bird! Being a lot closer to his age I enjoyed hearing about his music tastes as well.

Weird how much the area where you're walking resembles the scene where Ermentraut bought it on the show.

Cue the eerie music: Just before discovering Mr. Banks on your show this morning, I was listening to a three songs here on YT from a film early in his career when he played a returning Vietnam Marine at a drunken beer call at Bruce Dern's character (CAPT. HYDE) in Hal Ashby's COMING HOME (1978). And as then to today, Mr. Banks has always only been the fellow to look at in damn near everything I've seen him in. D.A. a fan and filmmaker

I could listen to Jonathan Banks teach me about history and the native Americans all day lol. Honestly that's really awesome he was upset that house didn't mention anything about them, because at the very least it should be mentioned that was their land first.

Great interview. Great hike. Malibu Creek for the win. Definitely check out Charmlee Park if your up in North Malibu. It's a stunner, easy lines, and nice variations among a loop trail with lots of sub loops overlooking the water, and it's nice and cool in the summer.

Mike's death was so out of character. He trusted Walter the least of anyone and completely let his guard down with him. I think it was the most poorly written and most disappointing scene in the entire series. It was absolutely stupid.
