Breaking bad and Better Call Saul would have still been great but it was even made better and that right there says something for ALL involved.

I always love the end of an episode, because you can see Kevin is still clearly on the hike but the guest is nowhere to be seen. I’m concerned he’s pushing these people into a ravine and leaving them to die so he can close the episode.

it's a weird thing it got nominated and won 0 of the emmy's,hell bob was continuosly popping for lead actor but everytime it went to some other,same happened with steve carell for the office,feel bad for both.

"I broke my boy!" Man, I'm so glad they were able to let Mr Banks have a good scene like that. BCS added so much depth to that character and Banks killed it.

One of the greatest characters in all of TV and movie history (Mike Ehrmantraut) played brilliantly by one of the most fantastic actors to ever grace a screen. Thank goodness for Jonathan Banks.

Mike is one of my all time favorite characters. I can't even imagine Breaking Bad or Better call Sal w/out that character. Jonathan just crushed it in his performance. Super impressed with him at 76 that he's still that active and in shape to do that hike. Great episode.

Legend. If Mike Ehrmantraut isn't the greatest supporting character in TV history, I'm not sure who would be.

Jonathan...wow... Such a great guy and a terrific actor. Very down-to-Earth and dedicated to the craft. I also remember him from the Wiseguy series. Cool dude!

Thing I love about BB and BCS is characters like Mike and Jesse weren't meant to be around for very long yet turned into something amazing. I appreciate that so much

Imagine my joy when I rewatched Airplane (1980) and recognized Jonathan Banks in a small role. That's a pretty long, and good, career. Topped off by hiking with Kevin, of course.

Mr. Banks is a national treasure. He gave so much to both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. I enjoyed this hike very much. Thank you! All the best to you both!

Love that Mike mentioned the Chumash growing corn. Planet of the Apes was filmed there and film makers grew a field of corn for the scene where the apes capture Taylor, Nova and the gang.

Got to love how his compassion for the suroundings and knowledge of the area surpasses the otherwise iinflated egos of most actors. Genuinely, anyone could walk next to either one of you and enjoy the moments.

What a mind-bending experience that would be to be walking along, and all of a sudden, you pass Kevin Nealon and Johnathan Banks. Like, "Did I just see that?"

Glad to see Jonathan so passionate about the Chumash tribe, myself being Akwesasne Mohawk here in New York, it's been hard over the years to find the accomplishments mentioned here outside of the local museums.

Johnathan was delightful! This was one of the top five interview / hikes you've done Kevin. Thank you.

He will go down in history as one of the greatest actors of all time. Jonathan Banks is also pretty good too.

Jonathan Banks looks like such a chill dude to hang out with

Mike was my favorite character in both shows. Just a regular guy doing his job and doing it well.

Johnny is so good at his craft. Pretty humble guy too. He's a dude I'd love to have a few beers with and just talk about anything.

Kevin says "Jonathan didn't you bring a camera?" Jonathan says "If I need a camera I will take one from you."

Also, speaking of reptiles, I must admonish Johnathan for harassing the lizard 🙂. It's nice to know that he's aware of the Chumash heritage(and a little incensed about the lack of info at the visitor center)--I''d wager very few hikers have a clue about them. With all the rain and that mid-summer storm we had, I’m amazed at how late everything stayed green in the Santa Monicas. I rode Cheseboro Canyon yesterday and there’s still plenty of water crossings and wild flowers. So nice.

Holy shit, time is rough on us. But what a beautiful place. Pretty awesome little climb you did. Great to see the best character on Breaking Bad and at least third best guy on SNL in the wild.

I could listen to Jonathan Banks teach me about history and the native Americans all day lol. Honestly that's really awesome he was upset that house didn't mention anything about them, because at the very least it should be mentioned that was their land first.

Great interview. Great hike. Malibu Creek for the win. Definitely check out Charmlee Park if your up in North Malibu. It's a stunner, easy lines, and nice variations among a loop trail with lots of sub loops overlooking the water, and it's nice and cool in the summer.

Mike's death was so out of character. He trusted Walter the least of anyone and completely let his guard down with him. I think it was the most poorly written and most disappointing scene in the entire series. It was absolutely stupid.

He's also in Lethal Weapon...
