He’s trying to make this accessible for athletes/people on the go. It’s a good blend of healthy fats, lean proteins, and good complex and simple carbs. It’s all too easy for an athlete to rush to practice and not be properly fueled before or after- and then pig out afterwards on takeout they shouldn’t have done. As a wrestler and boxer cutting weight, these recipes and tips would have been super helpful. I hope they help others, so thanks!

i barely have time to have breakfast. microwave can get 2 eggs done in less than 90secs. also the quick cooking time can potentially reduce the amount of nutrients destroyed during the typical prolonged heating process.

I make my morning shake with 1 1/2 cup of filtered water, soy or almond milk, I blanch baby spinach and power greens to then freeze into pucks to added, I soak, blend and ferment nuts , 1/4 cup of that is added, then 1/3 C. frozen wild blueberries. I soak 6 dates and add that for a sweetener. My junk food junkie husband even likes this shake! He uses liquid stevia for a sweetener. We also like to change it up by adding one stalk of celery, or 1 carrot, or some frozen cauliflower, a nob of fresh turmeric, ginger, and so on. Fermenting the nuts makes them easier for me to digest. I'm gluten, corn, dairy and refined sugar free.

The smoothie is only like 300 calories. If having just the smoothie, I would double the quantity.
