    Leave it to the Pats to go out and hire the damn dietitian in the special ops of the military. They refuse to be average at any aspect.

  • @uncreative5766

    @uncreative5766

    The thing we have to remember is the context. Phelps had that diet just because of the 2008 Olympics because he was doing eight different events in Beijing. Phelps has seriously distanced himself from that since he obviously doesn't want to give kids the wrong idea about what is and isn't overeating.

    So, in one week, that's 160 pounds of fish, 475 of chicken, and 172 of red meat. That's 805 pounds per week. There are 53 players on a team. That's 15 pounds per player, each week. So, assuming that they eat every day at the Patriots cafeteria, that's 2 pounds of meat a day. If that's just chicken, that's about 6 chicken breasts, in one day. And that doesn't include everything that they eat. I have to say, this is crazy.

    I've watched tons of these videos from various teams on all aspects and the Patriots always spend the extra money and go the extra mile to do it best. Example - all teams are bringing in the preportioned salmon, the Pats are prepping fresh caught salmon themselves. That is a fractional health gain that takes far more time/money but they do it.
