Haha, well I wanted to do something with KCD again for a little bit. I have about 2-3 post-it notes worth of KCD material I want to test out, but I am sort of spreading it out so we might see more KCD antics later on during the year ;)

Good to see another kcs video! It's been a while and I haven't been watching since you finished the KCD series since I haven't played Buldur's Gate and have been messing around other games. Thinking of getting the game and see you breaking the game!

Hey! Its good to see you around every so often its been awhile! I do plan to release some other KCD content sometime soonish, so hopefully it turns out alright. I am stubborn and will try to finish up the Baldur's gate series, even though editing that is sooo much tougher than KCD haha. But I do have something planned, I just need to find time in real life to do it, it might be a dramatic change but it could be worth it :D

You know I loved the game so much I wish I could make another series to follow up the Hardcore Henry, but honestly, I think we tapped all we could do on a normal playthrough, but there is more KCD theme stuff I could do, I have a bunch of ideas I want to do sometime in the future. Not soon but whenever I feel the itch to play KCD again.

Ah I never left, but just not making KCD content as much. I have a few notes cards down here for new KCD ideas, but I am sort of spacing those out at the same time trying to avoid burning out again from doing too much KCD :P

The madam of the Sassau bathhouse seems to sound a lot like the Armorer from The Mandelorian. “I’m sure you will be extremely satisfied, it is the way!”

KCD is great fun for certain. BG3 can be fun, but its not the same feeling, as well as editing for it. I am determine to finish the playthrough then do something different with BG3, no matter the cost. Really, it helps out thinking creatively if anything. But with KCD Hardcore Henry editing was fun every episode I finished. I sort of want that same feeling again, but I do not want to copy myself over again if that makes sense. I think I did just about everything in KCD playthrough. But if its something to look forward to, I do have like 2-3 post-it note ideas for KCD that I want to put out sometime in the future. :D

Another trick that doesnt involve beef is to wait until you have to escape Skallitz and jump with Olena over the wall of the mine compound (just before the scene where you get shot in the leg). From there you can explore the whole world as long as you don't move too close to Skallitz (game over) or Talmberg (triggers main story, but will bug out when you go back to skallitz to bury your parents).

Yup, that is probably the #1, best trick to do in the game, because it doesn't really exploit the game, but really just break it in a unique way. And as a side note, the trigger to event doesn't happen unless you get close the mill's bridge. So you could bury your parents, but never trigger that event. You can probably beat the game without having that event at all. Might be a good piece of Jeopardy knowledge of how many quests do you need to beat the game minimum, and that could be one skip around quest that you never need to trigger ;)

I did this trick and found out one exploit. I jumped out, leveled up a bit. Then I did the Talbmberk and Burrying parents part. After I woke up at the mill, I went back to Skalitz, triggered the horse chaise cutscene. Once you have defeated the riders, all the other cumans are completely static. I trained stealing skill on them without losing any reputation. I was just knocking them out, stuffing their pockets with spurs, which I kept stealing from them again and again until lvl 20.@@helicalgoose

Yup! That is a great trick especially since the cumans don't react to you failing to pick pocketing them. The thing I love is carrying them all back to Pribs village once it was built up and using them as a council of warriors. Took forever to walk them over there, but heck to it, it made the village that much better. You know ill have to credit you if I ever do another pickpocket video, I think you mentioning that would be well worth trying it out and explaining why its better than the old technique, its a bit of setup, but it could be worth it.

I always thought people you'd kill in the tutorial would respawn. Funny that they're cloned and already there

Yup! All of them are there, except Matt, Fritz, and Johanaka. They might be in the so called "NPC Fridge" I will have to figure out how to install mods for the game and do some flying around to see if they exist somewhere on the map at the time, but the clones exist out there before the game even starts! It was a huge Hungarian scam!

I wonder if getting arrested outside of Skalitz would trigger the prison ending

Sadly, that is true. If you escape Skalitz but go to jail in Rattay, they send you back to Skalitz for a game over prison ending :( I was hoping that a prison stay would be a way around having no quests at all, but apparently that is not an option.

I tried this and glitched out of Skalitz went and explored a little bit and bought a horse. And used a combination of beef jumping and horse to back into Skalitz and i could continue the game as normal. Best time to glitch out was after finishing all the objectives that Father gives, but before speaking to Theresa, that way you cant glitch out the main quest. You sadly lose the horse after you go to Talmberg. EDIT: forgot to mention how to get back in. Go the the main gate next to the watchtower you beef jump out off. Tried positioning myself in the corner and beef jumping back in. But that didnt work, so i tried multiple times until i had a massive stack of beef in the corner. Then i put the horse ontop all the beef. And then i jumped on the horses head, and crouched and beef jumped from there. Took a few tries but finally got on top the invinsible wall and jumped down back into Skalitz. Getting a second horse and using that also might also make it easier, inns usually have horses outside in a stable. Closest horse is in a bandit camp on the mine hills west of Skalitz.

Henry is backkkkk, praise the lord 🙌 I don't like baldurs gate as much hence my absence, glad to be back though

You know I thought about it, but I feel like I lost a bunch of "jesus christ" and "Henry of Skalitz" clips. I think I would have to replay the game again and capture those clips before making one of those videos. I think I didn't really start capturing a bunch of them until I got half way through the game because I thought the series was only going to be like 10-12 episodes long...opps.

Oh absolutely. I still have all the recordings, so I technically could sit and watch all the unedited footage again. But at the time I was not hunting or paying attention for those lines, so I might of not recorded them or something like that. I sort of have a paranoia that I might of missed a good one! So another play through sounds about right ;)

The game is so easy to break and become OP anytime I start a run I steal a horse hit up treasure maps go to skaltiz abuse random encounters buy permanent rooms in every inn for an extra home sell to peshek level up lock picking 1 million before you even train with Bernard

100% I feel like after you played the game once or twice, everything is on easy mode, Hardcore mode or not. And I am not certain if that is a bad thing...The game is challenging to starting players, but should it be to experience ones? Though most of the challenge is finding good items and groschen then abusing alcohol like a frat boy before finals week and everything is usually gravy :P

You know, I have been trying in the past. I may have to revisit this again. As a hint if you want to try yourself, the only way out I really see is through the cave system and abusing that. The invisible walls are a bit too tough to get over, so we will probably have to go under, but it could be a possibility.

100% It sounds a bit too much when I write it down, but I think we proper mod support KCD could've been sort of Skyrim like. Where, after you beat Skyrim 2-3 times, you now just play it solely on mods. I think KCD had the same potential. Though, who knows if KCD2 will learn from the original, only time will tell!

Unfortunately, you get sent back to prison in Skalitz and Henry gets burnt up to a crisp :( So, don't go to jail when you escape the tutorial :P

There are some other horses have a different path and can be a bit more fun. Though what I am really curious is how we can abuse the "teleporting" effect that the horses do. I wonder if it still exists after the raid on Skaltiz without breaking the game. It would be fun to make Henry teleport ;)

Can you now go to Rattay? Is Theresa still there? Can you finnish woman's lot before finnishing the intro? When I was playing the dlc, Theresa lied to Henry's mom, but he behaved like if she didn't 🤷

You can still go to Rattay after the breaking the game, but no one wants to talk to you. Its sort of sad, it would've been great to go back to Skalitz with Theresa after breaking the game, because that might of been a round about way of getting the game reset to work again.

That's dissapointing. If you escape from Talmberg before Radzig shows up, can you talk to people? The idea of doing woman's lot before intro seems fun to me.

@@lol-hy4mk You can't talk to a lot of people about quest. Peshek will not give you the option for his start up, many quest givers are tight lipped. And the only quest I found, was the Old-whore quest at the Inn and Glave which shocked me that it was even an option. So there might be more quests out there, that you can get, but most of them seem tied to you being so far on the main story line or some other trigger. If I could fast travel at that time, I would investigate it more readily, but without it, that could take a very long time for a possible, No answer. But, it is interesting to see perhaps completing a quest could reactivate the main story line somehow, I wonder if that would break the game even further.
