Wow .. !! Excellent job. It looks great..!
That is exactly what I need on my truck. The bulky iron cross style one if have hangs up on everything. Just would like a winch spot on my stinger when I build it

brazing like a boss!!! nice work Josh..
You should check out radical posture he has a good video on how to breathe and relax your arms sounds like it’s key when it comes to Braizing or welding. I dig your videos to.
looks really good.. im sure it will look 10 times better when it painted.
thanks for the video as I too am looking to getting into this as well this coming summer I may go with a wire feed welder tho but still give me the encouragement I need to take on a job like this

+paul taylor Personally Id like to weld over braze but honestly this was super easy to get the hang of. Its all about having the proper equipment. I have arc welded and mig welded before and for the size of material brazing s the easiest and cheapest way to get it done.
Awesome job man! I knew you could do it!
i just picked up a harbor freight 90amp welder, just to have one stand bye. going to try to make some sliders for my f250 scx10

Dang Dawg, that stinger looks amazing, especially as it's your first attempt. I'd buy a set of sliders for my ascender bronco off you any time. :)

+Mikey mike lol, only have 1 bumper under my belt so far. Not ready to start production yet, haha.
Nice work man. The bumper looks awesome. Been thinking about trying my hand at brazing. I assume it's just a matter of getting use to it. Or getting a feel for it? Thumbs up bud..👍👍

+RcNickster it's really not hard. Like you said it's just getting a feel for it and learning how to set your flame.

I found this one in a Facebook group. eBay usually is a good place to find some as well.
what about a short metal plate & two holes & two screws to hold the light down.

Its just 1/4 inch steel rod I picked up at home depot. I also use 1/4 inch steel brake lines for more intricate work. You can get them at any auto parts store behind the counter. Easier to bend and braze faster since they are hollow.

Bernzomatic WB-5 flux coated bronze rods. I found them through grainger in bulk at a much better price.

+MrTurboShadow It really was easy once I got the right tools. And yes the locked up RC stuff is pretty bad ass. DIdnt know they were based out of texas. I got enough 3mm scale hardware to do an entire rig. Sent you an email the other day btw.
