That is exactly what I need on my truck. The bulky iron cross style one if have hangs up on everything. Just would like a winch spot on my stinger when I build it

+paul taylor Personally Id like to weld over braze but honestly this was super easy to get the hang of. Its all about having the proper equipment. I have arc welded and mig welded before and for the size of material brazing s the easiest and cheapest way to get it done.

Nice work man. The bumper looks awesome. Been thinking about trying my hand at brazing. I assume it's just a matter of getting use to it. Or getting a feel for it? Thumbs up bud..👍👍

what kind of rods did you use to braze that? i'm looking into brazing myself a chassis.

Its just 1/4 inch steel rod I picked up at home depot. I also use 1/4 inch steel brake lines for more intricate work. You can get them at any auto parts store behind the counter. Easier to bend and braze faster since they are hollow.

Bernzomatic WB-5 flux coated bronze rods. I found them through grainger in bulk at a much better price.
