Feels good to finally cover an Aimer track! She's one of my fave artists and Brave Shine is the first song I heard from her and it blew my mind--such a banger track. I've never seen Fate (except for the Fate/cooking spin-off lol) but this song is so sick I just had to cover it! I decided to go for mostly re-creating the original instrumental, but with chunkier guitar parts and some new string parts since I thought that would really up the epic-ness. I'm super happy with the instrumental for this one and had a blast playing those rhythm parts! chiisana absolutely destroyed the vocals as usual and I'm so glad I got her on the track 🔥. I also wanted to write English lyrics for this track since I really vibe with the OG lyrics, and I tried to give it a huge "epic fantasy" kinda vibe! I think I was able to get that across pretty well; this was a fun lyric set to write.
