The families of instruments are much like the Elements in Avatar: The Last Airbender Percussion, like Earth, is strong, diverse, and has no illusions about what it is. There are no fancy tricks that makes percussion suddenly easier or better Woodwinds, like Air, are focused on air. Nothing more to be said. Strings, like Water, are focused on reciprocating motion and constantly blab about their "rich culture" Brass, like Fire, is powerful, drawn fundamentally from how good you are at breathing, and while often perceived as bringing nothing but death and destruction, is actually full of beauty and life.

I have something you probably never heard of... The ocarina! It's a unique wind instrument that's been around for over 12,000 years, but I and many other people came to know the ocarina from Nintendo's Zelda games, more specifically Ocarina of Time. Ocarinas come in many different shapes and sizes, but one thing is common among all of them; The smaller the ocarina is, the higher the pitch of the sound, and vice versa (Bigger ocarina = lower pitch)

I get that but it was still kind of rude the way they did it, maybe instead of doing that SAME JOKE 10 times they could have done one where the Horn plays all the off beats or the tuba plays only whole notes or the trumpet just plays super high at a random moment. There are so many ways to roast the brass in a funny way without implying that we are useless. It just invalidates the need for brass which isn’t cool, as much as I love twister I didn’t think their “joke” was funny at all.

@@mckennawhitney4825 as it could be soothing, brass only bands exist. Bitish style brassbands however have no Trumpets or Horns though, but these where replaced by Cornets and Eb alto horns, it's also one of the few places i, as a Euphonium player can play in. The only other ensembles an Euph can play in are concert bands and Fanfare bands (some native bands with slightly differ3nt setup in Belgium/Netherlands) i also think it's kinda sad there's no place in an orchestra for euph other then solo's, but yeah we brass are FAR from useless at all. Think about what trent said, we can almost play anywhere and play almost any genre! Eat that violins 😉

I guess the players must be embarassed to be associated with the instrument otherwise! At this point it feels like TwoSet is starting shit for the sake of baiting out awesome response videos from the rest of musician youtube, and I am ALL FOR IT. Also, you should've shown off the repaired contrabass, maybe with a snark about durability then cut to violinist Trent with a bag of woodchips and some glue.
