As a 15 year old I lived on the streets of London as it was so much safer then being at home 😢 And it did not matter the colour of the skin black or white they would treat you like something on the bottom of there shoe 😭 I found it was those with nothing that would share what little they had and I am grateful for the ones that saw me and not past me xxx 😘 my life is better now but I can and should never forget 💕

I love how there’s always multiple versions where Brandy arranges here vocal’s differently! She sings this one pretty straight, while the other version (might be the album version) is more colorful on her verses. Such a treasure!

People don't realize that it could happen to them when they see the homeless on the street of LA or anywhere and they ask you for alittle something to get them through the day or if you can't do that them help them give them the address to a homeless shelter or Catholic Charities, not all want a drink or get drugs..
