You are perfect at explaining! Thank you 🙏🏻
i got so confused about the inhibitory and activating functions, my teacher didnt explain it so clearly but your analogies explained it perfectly! and also entertaning :)
This was such an excellent way to get the process across. I love the good cop bad cop analogy, it made my laugh. You make it seem so easy!
I'm at the immune system portion of A&P 2 and was surfing the web for material that expanded on the basic material we're learning. This video was an outstanding supplement to the base material. THANK YOU Dr. Brandl!
Such a great video, thank you. All your videos are really impressive, highly informative but easy to follow too.
Thank you very much, you are teaching many people critical biochemistry knowledge!
Your explanations are simply awesome.. Thank you!
i'm in love with your voice lol thank you so much
Excellent thanks. This vedio shows us clearly why some victim's of convert virus have no antibodies response. The virus is dealt with by T cells before a antibody response is required. Wish some of these thickos doctors new a bit more on infection response in the body, then maybe think twice before dribbling out advice
hahahaha creepy talking about kidnapping and stuffing mouths to shut them up, this was a really helpful way of helping me understand, very memorable! Thank you!!
Thank you so much from India

Very high quality diagrams thank you.
amazing!! thank you
thank you 😊
thank you so much!!!
this was awesomeee
Thank you
excellent
Forgot to mention NK cells may be resident in tissues as well
cool!!!
there is one thing I couldn't understand. how can a cell infected by virus marked by antibody?? B-cells only active if the body infected with extracellular pathegen such as bacteria except brucella and TB??
Why do nk cell not attack RBC, as they also lack mhc l.

This is a good question. But remember, in order for the NK cell to kill a target cell there need to be activating ligands expressed on the target cell. As long as the RBC doesn't express these, it will not get killed.
So this Ab mediated cytotoxicity is adaptive or innate immunity..?clarify pls..

The NK receptors that bind the Fc of the Ab (CD16) are germline encoded (ie., limited) - therefore, it's innate immunity.
you are funny too 😂
