Great airplane and great flying! You still have to control it when it touches down because the ground loop wins you if you don’t keep it rolling straight dancing with the rudder! Try it and it will make much better landings, same on take off, anticipate that torque and P factor with more right rudder and it will go much more straight!!!

The hobby has come such a long way. Amazing to me that you can have such a remarkable model flying with such little effort. Remember the days when...

Lovely looking warbird well flown! I hope all goes well with the arrival of your new sprog!! x Fun Fact - It's interesting that model flyers talk about "tip stalls" (I did too! You mentioned it at the beginning of the flight as you banked into the left turn from your take off), but since taking up flying Gliders (sailplanes) last year, I have learned that it's actually called an "Asymmetric stall", where the wing on the inside of a turn stalls first and drops. This is because it is generating less lift as it is moving slower than the outside wing. Most wings don't stall at the tip first, as they are designed not to, so maintaining better aileron control at lower speed... I guess its just that the tip of the wing is the bit you most noticeably spot heading speedily groundwards into the resulting spin! This phenomenon is the cause of the largest number of accidents in general aviation, as it most often happens on the turn from base leg to final when landing, so there isn't enough height to recover - when training to fly gliders it is drummed in to students that final approach speed is sufficient to be well over stall speed, even allowing for different wind conditions, to help prolong your life! It is true that warbirds having a much higher wing loading and, made worse by the propeller rotation, do tend to stall easily and aysmmetrically at slower speed. The F4U Corsair, for instance, has a triangular wedge shaped spoiler on the starboard wing to mitigate the effect. Anyway, good luck guys!

I fly my June Nite version on a runway even rougher than yours. It makes ground handling an adventure. Mine wants to veer right on landing.

Congrats to you and Abby on the little one in the hanger. Great video and looking forward for this one to arrive in the UK. I got back into the hobby with the new Eflite Cirrus. Now looking forward to picking up 1this Warbird which I've wanted for a very long time. Stepping stone to my ultimate addition which will be the Eflite FW190, my all time favourite aircraft.

Lately ya'll been doing reviews on bigger aircraft. I love em. This is awesome. Really, really like scale aircraft and since quads aren't scale. They don't count. But I gotta admit, they are my personal favorite. They are so easy to fly. BUT. these scale warlords and of course the Draco have all caught my fancy. This really looks cool. The retractable landing gear adds to its appeal. I wish these were a little cheaper , but we all know ya get what you pay for.

Nate : just put a little gray tape on the wing tips. I had the P51 Arrows. Total disappointment in its servos and tail wheel steering. Plus so under powered. I tossed it. Maybe I grab this one some day . Looks nice with good quality electronics.

Beutiful Mustang 😍 Nice maiden Nate 👍🏻 Landing was smooth just the tip over which is very normal with these Mustangs and most all tail draggers. Hate ya scuffed your wing though. It would be worth putting something on the edge of the wing to keep it from scuffing it up. Packing tape would be better than nothing 🤔

I purchased this plane and love it! I noticed I’m getting total voltage telemetry for the pack on non-smart batteries too! I looked for an update for my other ar631’s. Is this a version 2 or something? I don’t see updates for my older 631’s that include this feature. Just hoping to pick your brain. Thanks!

I wonder if you guys could review the Wltoys A170 airplane. It's price to performance and package of things you getting with it looks nice to me though materials are not as high quality as the big horizon planes. As a beginner I am intrigued.

I hope the retracts on these are tougher than the ones on the 1.5 i break mine just turning too fast on the runway.

It's a nice color scheme but it's the "June Nite" 1.2m P51D which i own. Nothing original about it or changed. I have Telemetry with the June Nite P51D. Overall nice flight Nate and Abby it is time girl. God Bless you both and you're growing family.

I make myself get out and fly. Sometimes it’s hard, to plan ahead charging the batteries, loading the car etc… Let me make a suggestion if you don’t mind! Make RC a part of your life. Either plan to fly before or after work (if you do work) on your way home or your drive there. Find a small plane like the Eratix that doesn’t need a lot of space to fly and you can keep in the trunk of your car. Then, leave fifteen minutes earlier than you normally do on your way to work and stop to fly one or maybe two batteries! I guarantee it’ll make your life better and leave you looking forward to that morning or evening flight. Trust me, the world can wait on you to enjoy the highlight of your day. You deserve it brother! Happy Flying 😁😎⚓️

It's beautiful!! "Cripes almighty " is part of the blue nose bastards of Bodney. 352 fighter group. I have the 750mm "moonbeam mcswine " that is offered by hobbyking and banana hobby and of course Amazon. It's a 3s plane. Good to see that horizon hobby has put out such a great plane from such a fantastic fighter group. Great video guys!!

It would have been very ironic if they had not put a steerable tail wheel on this Mustang, since they put one on the UMX Voodoo Mustang. I think about the only complaint I would have with this one, is that the silver and blue isn't the most stand-out color scheme in the sky. Other than that, it does look like a very nice flying model.

How does the flight characteristics compare to the 1.5m Air Tractor from E-Flite?

I talked to the pilot of one of those he told me when it's about to lift off there's only a few inches of clearance from the runway to the prop

In my opinion, this is like the perfect sized airplane! Fits in your car easily, big enough to see in the air flying. Keeps the price down and battery cost down! Happy Flying 👍😁😎⚓️

Preorder at $349.00. I built a mustang a little smaller than this one last year from Dollar Tree foam board, final price including electronics was $89. It flew quite well and had scale looks.
