We're lucky to have a smart man like Josiah furthering motorsports in the way of giving away free knowledge such an attribute I respect highly about him, HP Academy is a another good one Titans of CNC if you like learning about CNC manufacturing and learning in general.
I was just thinking about this the day before and wondering why nobody uses boosters in motorsports. I had never heard the explanation and now I totally understand.
This was really good information to understand how braking works for a non race car driver perspective. I have always wondered why we are taught to right foot brake for street car driving. Thank you for another Info tuesday on braking!
No joke never knew how a booster worked until now. I'm curious as to how much of a difference (umbrella term ik) it would make on something as light as a miata
I can definitely see how this is helpful for drift cars. Is this something that would benefit road race cars? Or not nearly as much since you're mainly off the throttle when braking.
I installed a chase bays dual channel master booster delete on a z32 with big brakes and the pedal feels incredible. Plan on doing the same on my s13 with z32 brakes but if yall get this system set up for s chassis I might have to give yalls a try cause yall are the best
hyped for Dmasters
Excellent content!

Much appreciated!!!!
Neeeeeed that
I have always wondered how much bias could be adjusted in manually before going to a valve and so on, with hard wear.
I use a will wood dual chamber manual brake setup with a prop valve on my sn95, is there any advantage to using two separate master cylinders and a bias bar over what i have setup? my current setup takes up minimal space
When does the new edge mustang booster delete drop lol
What about hydroboost or electric booster?
Would this work with an inline hrdro?
On the corvette, how would you plug the vacuum line that would go to the booster?

@@brianmendiola yes, what would be the best way to do that?

@@filsilva7213 Lots of places sell little vacuum cap thingies. Remove the whole line, cap it at the engine. Shade tree sketchy AF way: Jam a fat bolt in the hose and seal it with RTV.

@@bennyb.1742 I would not jam it with RTV.

@@filsilva7213 depending on what the manifold is you can weld it shut or if it’s plastic you could plastic weld it. It is a vacuum line so let’s say you need to run a map sensor, iat sensor(even tho not ideal location if in manifold best before throttle body), blow off valve, fuel pressure regulator. You can run those off of that. There are many ways to block off a vacuum port. That is just one of the things you learn working/building cars is custom fabrication which is a skill you learn over time
