I would probably put Inception first and this one second and then Interstellar. But, the space between them is small, and if you asked me on another day, I might change my mind. Oh, I didn't realize he did Transcendence. It's quite a nice movie.

35:37 In order to film the reverse scenes, IMAX cameras were converted to record backwards. Additionally, in fight scenes, the actors learned reverse fight choreography. I'm glad I got to see Your reaction to Tenet. Basically my second favorite movie. I managed to watch it in IMAX during the pandemic. It was an extraordinary experience - image, sound. Additionally, the film requires watching it at least twice to understand everything and catch the details. I must admit that I would love to see Your reaction to my favorite movie - Alita: Battle Angel.

TENET in my view is Nolan's best film. The filmmaking style really matured from his earlier works, and the audio and visual storytelling meshed together in a way that hasn't been topped since IMO. I also love that it simply didn't waste time in exposition, and it was basically go-go-go from frame one. I re-watched it on IMAX a few months ago, and my estimation (which was steadily increasing since my first viewing shortly after release) only increased further.

Thank you biss you are the only reactor that reacts to this epic movie, this movie is amazing im so glad that you react to it and i love it. cant wait for your reactions to more Nolan movies his movies are masterpieces. And a Fun-fact like all we know that Nolan doesnt like to use much CGI so The production team purchased and then crashed a real 747 airplane into a hangar. The stunt was all practical effects, with no visual effects or CGI. Director Sir Christopher Nolan had originally planned to use miniatures and set-piece builds. However, while scouting for locations in Victorville, California, the team discovered a massive array of old planes, and it became apparent that it would actually be more efficient to buy a real plane of the real size and to perform the sequence for real on camera.Keep up the good work.

In my experience watching this with people and reactions. Theres a specific point where 2 things happens. When the scientist early in the film says "don't try to understand it, just feel it", most people take this as a challenge and try to understand it, then while they are running in circles trying to figure it out the film is literally explaining itself to them but they arent listening. The other side is people who choose to sit back and enjoy the ride and as a result they actually pick up the little hints and hear the explanations and at the end understand the film better. Im so glad you are in the second group and were actually able to follow along. When you do this is a great film.

It's funny that at the beginning of your reaction, you said you heard it was one of his better movies. As a huge Christopher Nolan fan, I completely agree that Interstellar, then Inception are his best movies. Next are Memento, Dark Knight, and Oppenheimer, followed by this, the Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk, etc. As far as I'm concerned, all of his movies are as good as, or in some cases, much better than your standard hollywood movie, so even his worst stuff is still pretty good.

This is definitely his most confusing film, took me 3 watches to fully grasp all of it, but it is another masterpiece in the end. Also Transcendance and man of steel and many of the ones you mentioned there in the end are not really his films, he just helped in some way, transcendance was his cinematographer's first film as a direcor himself so he helped him, Wally Pfizer or something, Man of Steel was Zack Snyder's Nolan did write a script for it but most of it was scrapped by Snyder, but at least the best parts of the movie were from Nolan's script, I think it could have been much better but Snyder fucked it up. The only ones that you haven't seen that are actually Nolan's are Folliwing and Insomia, both great films but not among his best when you have a bar that high I personally would rank them like this 1. The Dark Knight 2. Inception 3. Interstellar 4. The Prestige 5. Memento 6. Oppenheimer 7. Tenet 8. Insomnia 9. Dark Knight Rises 10. Batman Begins 11. Following (considering it was his first film ever and under 10,000 dl budget it's pretty impressive tho)

The Batman. Despite my love of Nolan, proud I'm not blindly loyal, The Batman is the best Batman film. There, I said it. The thing about Nolan's that most don't understand/forget is that it was a gig. He made a deal with Warner, one for them, one for him. They got a Batman, he could do whatever he wants, and on, and on. He didn't care about Batman. Of course his half-hearted effort still exceeds most other film makers, but that wasn't his passion, and if you intimately KNOW Nolan's work, it's obvious. It was a deal with the devil, and it was paid in blood. From his Dark Knight Trilogy, the MCU abomination followed.

It's not the worst, it's the least performing because it came out during covid, it got re-released again on imax and tickets were all sold out, IMO; this movie is his best, yet.

Bizz i want to show my appreciation for watching this movie 'till the end. I couldn't survive it's first 50min. It was one of the most boring movies by Nolan IMO. Congrats for surviving it.

whoever told you dunkirk is one of this worst ones and this one is one of the bests ones, lied to you in your face. This is by far the most experimental and def the weakest of all, while Dunkirk is very much considerate his most personal and passionate project while also prob the best one in terms of script and direction. Cheers lady, brake a leg

Dunkirk is ok but The PG 13 rating, ruined The movie, i mean, a war movie with no blood is a big no no. Tenet maybe not his best but is definitely better than Dunkirk

Who the hell says this is one of his best and Dunkirk is one of his worst? This movie is interesting. There's good stuff. But it's flawed, no doubt. If the majority of viewers find it confusing, and it's not necessarily supposed to be, just complex...you probably could have done better.
