It's possible that this would spike my natural growth hormone production from the extra sleep? I'd generally have to agree... For a skinny person, he actually has more muscle mass than the average person (although he could have been going to the gym, and eating a really good diet). I have a friend of mine, a former male model and he has the "perpetually skinny" gene Pitt does. My buddy doesn't get fat, he has to work super hard to build and maintain muscle so even when he added 10lbs of muscle, because he's so lean, he looked jacked as hell. Then he stepped on the scale at 6'2" and weighed only 180. Being lean definitely makes you look larger.

It's Brad Pitt's face that people admire... I don't think people even realize it! I have seen countless guys with similar physiques to Brad Pitt's at any gym and nobody bats an eye because they have average or below-average facial features. He gave his height as 5'11" in that same interview which usually means more like 5'10", but maybe he's the exception. There's a 1987 photoshoot that comes up when you search "Brad Pitt 1987" for anyone else interested in what he looked like when he was at least claiming to be 5'11" and 159 pounds at 23-24 though I imagine he was more or less the same weight give or take a few pounds as he was in the still Derek used of Pitt aged 25.

I don't think Brad needed to take performance enhancers for his roles. I would be very skeptical about the report of gaining 10 pounds of muscle mass in 6 months. This is not an obtainable goal for 99.9% of people. Closer to 5 pounds in 6 months, ok. More than that and its either not muscle (water, fat) or its performance enhancers. I would guess the report was just a bit exaggerated for impact.

I agree, I think this is what a lot of guys miss when they say they want Brad Pitt's fight club physique. They can build the same amount of muscle and cut down to 6% body fat...but their physiques just ain't looking as good as Brad's. The shape of his muscles, his insertions and muscle bellies, etc - make him look much better than most at his stats. The left pic in the thumbnail is a good example. Muscles look fuller, pop more... and just look better, let's face it. That's why he can get away with being 155 shredded and look amazing. Most people aren't looking like that at his stats. He's just gifted aesthetically in all regards

I've basically had a six-pack my whole life, even in periods where I've gotten sloppy with diet and training. The tradeoff is I'm somewhat a perma-twink and it's very hard to put on mass esp. as a full natty. It is really refreshing seeing these videos. You should know that you are truly helping young men with their confidence and helping them adjust their view on what having a natural body truly means and looks like. Respect bro.

Imagine confidently telling an average-above average built guy that he’s skinny and getting no repercussions. Now imagine the genders being reversed and the word “big” being used. I think body dysmorphia might be even more prevalent in males today because this stuff happens so often and with no backlash to those who say these things

No idea who so many men want to be huge when the Brad Pitt look is so much more attractive to women and so much more healthy in the long run.

Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere but Brad Pitt has been on and off a heavy smoker (upwards of two packs a day) throughout his career. Cigarettes definitely help to suppress hunger and make it easier to adhere to very strict low-calorie diets. His physique in Snatch was basically fight club with a higher percentage of body fat. I think he looks great in that movie and it may be a more realistic/achievable body type to maintain.

He looks like you typical ectomorph that has been lifting for some time and stays lean with ease.

My husband and his sisters are like that. He had a motobike accident few years ago and was lying in bed like 3 months and then little movement for one year and gain 0 weight🙈 he is always around 175-180 lbs and 6' and currently 36 year old.

Just genetics man. I was 6'4" and 165 pounds, benching 225 and lifting three times a week, and I looked NOTHING like Brad Pitt in fight club. I'm 215 now and honestly I don't even look that different. You are who you are, no workout or supplement or steroid cycle is going to change it.

I think to the average joe it looks near damn impossible but once you get a bit of nutrition knowledge and gym experience you will understand hes just hella lean really and its perfectly attainable
