@@james_gamingmd I feel like ots because the OG show relied alot on Brad interacting with all the peeps in the test kitchen as well as cooking. It brought alot of comedy and new ideas, now we don't get that part.

@@james_gamingmd It's because the old video editor/camera man is no longer with BA (Matt Hunziker). His edits and humor had a significant impact on how much we enjoyed "It's Alive". This new editor doesn't have the same timing, humor, or skill, so this replication is falling flat.

Some people would have left this to die in the production vault. Thank you to whoever let it see the light of day

I love the description of Brad's videos on Wikipedia: "having been described as 'part cooking show, part travel show, part Pop-Up Video and part continuous blooper reel'." (My life is a continuous blooper reel (my teenage daughter used to sit and look while I cooked (not my forte) to see what I would mess up or "juggle" with), so I find this soothing to watch.) Positively addictive.

I feel like the fact that Brad messed up the nut butter just makes this that much of a better video. Everything doesn't always turn out right, even for professionals.

I'm not sure if he messed it up or he was using a backup tool that wasn't suited for the job, which he was quite aware of. Vitamix's get HOT when you run them like that, I've seen it do pretty gnarly stuff to dairy and eggs myself.

This is proof that Brad will never run out of stuff to ferment

@@destah3269 Talk to Rapoport about that. It's not Brad's fault. I'm happy he stayed. The old cast was the best. BA should have just fired upper management for not distributing wages properly and kept the old chef crew on board with newfound equal attention and pay.

I just kept waiting for Delaney’s “woooooo” when Brad was opening the oven and the music played.

Few episodes of It's Alive have chosen chaos as strongly as this one.

“We could do with a *skosh* more than $1400” 💀😂💀 this show just keeps on giving with the little things

Its only 9 am and this is the energy i want to wake up to every day

one of the better ba videos lately. Dude feels like he's depressed af though. Can't imagine losing all my buddies and co-workers and then having some embarrassing cloud of events looming over you because of what happened. Just be you brudduh and rock on with ya bad self. You're a great chef and have lots of talent to share with the world yet. Don't let it all get you down bruh. Roll with it.

Brads videos are some of the only videos I watch all the way to the end, and I'm always glad for it.

What I love about Brad is that he’ll say one thing and then the complete opposite a millisecond later. It’s a real trip keeping up with Brad but I come back for more every time.

I love to see when chefs have an unsuccessful experiment lol- its encouraging for me honestly bc when I screw up I feel bad wasting ingredients thinking professionals wouldn’t make the same mistake but it really does happen to the best of us! 😂

Between Brad's personality and the masterful editing, this episode makes me feel like I'm playing in the kitchen with a friend.. and we're not allowed to see friends right now in Ontario.. so this was nice.

It might be better to use buttermilk powder. Whenever I’ve tried to add liquids to homemade nut butters it usually seizes up and gets super thick like this. Or maybe wait until the nut butter is already at your desired smoothness than add the liquid buttermilk slowly while the food processor is running.

@hoiy vinosa I guess either way. I was under the impression the company had a new staff and new higher up to take the company and publication in a new direction. So I don’t see why I wouldn’t give them the chance to fix things. But if you have other issues I’d love to hear them. As for it being patriarchal, bro I’m just hear for Brads nonsense to get me through the day. I’m not trying to get political, but again if you have actual concerns I’d love to hear them and understand more of your stance! :)
