I JUST added a comment about the BC Rich, right before I saw yours, which is brilliant, LOL. Not sure many who weren't metal fans in the 80s will fully appreciate the comment, but it's so good.

I’m a 57 year old dude who first saw the boys in 2018 in Boston and love watching their journey. Great performance. They deserve all the accolades they are getting.

Huge shout out to the supporting band: Tiana Ohara with the delicious walking bass line, Madden Klass showcasing the beauty of syncopation and simplicity, Sarah Goldstone holding the sonic backbone of the outro, and Jay Som who played three different instruments with infectious joy!

I have listened to a lot of rock music in my life, but I have never believed the emotional truth of rocking out as much as when they do it in this song. Like, I believe that is how they feel. That they are expressing a real and true and raw feeling as distinctly as possible. In addition to the words and beyond them. Phoebe screams and they all strum their guitars as hard as they can and as they do it they are laying bare something vital about being alive. I love this. Thank you for sharing.

Dude it’s actually so bad it’s cringe. It’s so performative in the most inauthentic way. Sounds terrible. Doesn’t have 3 guitar parts. It’s just so bad and if these girls weren’t girls and it wasn’t 2023 you would never have heard of them

It's been a joy to watch them grow from being a quirky indie side project, to a major rock and roll band..mad respect. And, yow!..that drummer kicks hard...

I’m happy they played Satanist! A lot of the time they play softer songs on tv, I’m so glad they showed this side of their music too 😍

When I seen the boys play this live to the world, almost in tears. This is every being of Boygenius. The grunge within this song I feel is them as a whole.
