The best divestment that includes all what brother Daniel has mentioned, is to leave west and make Hijraah to a muslim majority land. Its much better from.every aspect. Show your Wala to your muslim brothers and do Baraa' from the west, which has proven at large that a muslim blood has no significance. You will be able to prosper better and can have impact to your brothers and sisters even if you are ruled by a hypocrite.

I'm a medical professional and unfortunately the medicine we practice is still looking to the West as it's reference/qiblah. Nowadays preaching prevention like telling a homosexual HIV patient to stop their risky behaviour is a sin. It's very hard to divest professionally. Nonetheless when it comes to buying and investing, I personally won't buy anything with Western shares in it.
