The poor/middle class people including me can definitely do at least this much for our country. They are underestimating the power of poor/middle class and their love for this country. If skipping a meal can lead India to be self sufficient in food and milk then boycotting Chinese goods and software will definitely lead India to be self sufficient in these fields too. China is using its economy and its “economies of scale” to further its expansionism by annexing other countries land. We common citizens of India can definitely help our military and government during these critical times by not giving China any business from now on. I have seen many people taking actions in reality and not just posting on social media about boycotting China. So people are ready for these small sacrifices. But are you?

Many people are earning their living hood with help of smartphone/computer and internet. Not using phones is not a solution. Its like running away of the problem instead of solving it. India needs a very big revolution to be able to manufacture small electronics and integrated circuits etc. This revolution needs in the filed of education, research and development and manufacturing which is not going to happen overnight.

Thanks for this video, two things: 1. I think because India exports a lot less than what it imports from China, India can raise import tariffs to its advantage, because this will affect Chinese businesses more than Indian businesses - China stands to lose a greater amount of Business than India 2. To reduce dependency on China or for that matter on any country, India needs to improve is own capabilities. This is off course in addition to diversifying it's trade relationships that you have highlighted. As of now the reason why Indians don't buy Micromax is that its nothing in comparison to Xiaomi or One plus (not sure if these are Chinese or taiwanese, but you get my Point)

It's funny that most of the indians watching your video might be using chinese phones and that they are uninstalling chinese apps in their chinese phones. If India really wants to encourage entrepreneurship then first corruption should be stopped and bureaucracy be reduced.The gov should invest and encourage small bussinessmen who often are harassed by gov officials.

Bycot is only for 2- 8 days than everybody will forget & again people depend on CHINA Goods.

Anybody can skip Chinese product. Buy a handphone 10% more expensive if you can or with 10% less features if you can't find the money. That won't change your life but it will make a tremendous difference for our civilization in the long term. I need a screen, I'll buy a Taiwanese or South Korean brand. My laptop is a Lenovo. I bought it second hand: 0 pennies for the CCP. In 4 to 7 years, when it will die, I'll buy a new or second hand Framework laptop. My next phone won't be from a Chinese brand. Not financing an evil dictatorship is just more important to me than potentially having a 10% better speaker, screen or processor. Protecting our future start with our own acts.
