I'm the OP, she actually used to jump / nip a lot when we got home from work/school, so we taught her to get a toy. She's almost 3 now and still greets us with a wiggle and toy in her mouth every day.

My boy Winston looks exactly like her and brings me a toy every time I come home too and does a crazy happy wiggle, arched back, march in place kind of dance.

At 01:06 she looks around like, "Bad girl? Is there a bad girl somewhere in this room?"

That look at 0:49 still gets my heart every single time though

She's so beautiful! She should be forgiven a hundred times over.

I enjoyed your video of Clover so much. Made me think off all the things by boxer puppies destroyed over the years. And they all ended up to be great adults.

LOL! WhenI started going to college the fall after I got my Boxer, she'd go in my room and make a mess of it, too. She even destroyed a 200 dollar cell phone of mine!

We have a husky and when he makes a destructive mess he has always come running and sits proudly of his accomplishment so last August we got him a boxer brother you can only imagine what they can do as a team ( move furniture etc. ) lol

I know it is insane in the moment. I got a playpen at one time to leave my boxer (with water,bed,and toys) in while I ran two errands (gone for 1 1/2 hours tops). By the time I got home he moved his playpen over to the recliner was able to get it to an angle to get into the chair and went crazy on bills I had on the table next to it along with a coach wristlet-I had just got for Christmas -which he still had in his mouth when I walked in sitting like a human in the chair.

hahah! I wonder if thats why some dogs destroy when you leave them... "If I do this, they must know I cannot be trusted and will HAVE to go everywhere with them!"

i dont what happens with other dogs but i have a 5month boxer and he really understands what he did even 4 hours later when i show at him and he really understands

I warned my sons' teacher that if he ever came to school & said the dog ate his homework, to believe him. LOL we have a boxer too....who thankfully outgrew the chewing stage.

The best cure for this said Cæsar Milan is to take a run or a long walk with the dog before you leave it at home. The dog will then be so tired it will not have the energy to do all this. We had a Boxer and the to sugar and other foods, ripped up the bags and made a huge mess more than once. Lol!

Wow my boxer pup is 5 months old weighs 37 # and is a rascal. But when I leave, he either goes with me or in a cage. My Duke is very smart, I've had him a week and a day, so far, I've taught him to lay, sit, give high 5, he goes to the door when he wants out and as big as he already is, thinks he's a lap dog. Poor Clover

I am the OP, just lost my login info for Wolwar17. We now also have a male Weimaraner that just came out of his terrible puppy stage, so our house was full of these moments. Whiskey the weim actually managed to hop his crate across the room and rip apart the arm of a couch!

Lol ❤ Just wondering ,,,,, How long was Clover left alone? Usually they'll sleep. I think she will grow out of being destructive. They do. We try not to leave our pups alone less than 3-4 hours. Can be nerve wracking if an emergency. I'm a worrier. 😢 Don't want the fur-babies to be upset.

my dogs do. If they did something they're not supposed to and I come home its written all over their face and body language. My boxer will look down and away as shes trying to walk slowly out the room. I wont even yell, i just ask "who did this" and I can always tell which one is guilty.
