there’s something so sweet and satisfying about scott cleo and ren gossiping in a cave that makes me feel so happy i can’t wait for this to make me depressed by the end of the series

If you're able to farm mushrooms and flowers, you could have 1 person hide and eat loads of suspicious stew (because now you can eat it with full hunger, like gapples) while the other goes into pvp. Both people would constantly be healing up, and so you've turned 2 people into 1 invincible person. Could be useful if you go red.

That's actually a very good idea but I feel like by the time they go red they would already have access to potions

I love how Ren's plan is to make the ugliest base and Impulse's plan is to make the nicest looking base.

Everyone so shamelessly throws scar under the bus. But for real his track record in these life series is pretty good! He dies constantly in hermitcraft but that's because he's focused on massive builds that you can stare at while a creeper sneaks up on you, or a big thing he can fall off of. I don't think scar is going to go full focus massive build and fail to notice mobs or massive drops in these series. Though he has died in a water column and a very obvious lava trap that he was aware...

Scar is safe in 3rd life series, because they don't have elytra. ;) Number 1 Scar killer! (Just check out Grians hardcore series.) ...and look who's talking! Tango, died. Ren, died. (I don't remember if Etho trash talked Scar or not, and to be fair his death was only half his fault.)

The alternating wood n' cobble is such a good idea! another thing you could do is make the surface layer of your lowest floor glass. If the floor is glass it makes your base hard to trap without TNT being visible.

@@jupiter75100 the village is too far away, the boat trick works by geting into a boat one side of the border and getting out on the other side, but if they go too far they get damaged

throw some gravel in the middle of the wall and it will take three tools to break through, plus the gravel wall will self replentish for a wile to take even longer.

I love that start where everyone's like "hello" then the pause and everyone just runs off in different directions 🤣 And shame poor Scar. Everyone ripping on him cause he dies a lot 😆

Watch Cleo freak out any time Martin takes damage is kinda funny. But Martin is pretty good at not dying, so I think mostly they just have very different play styles and Martin just isn't afraid to take damage while Cleo is an incredibly careful player. It's definitely going to be a really interesting pair to watch!

But this comment exists because I'd already watched theirs and was thinking about how she was freaking out, but Martyn wasn't, so I was thinking about the rest of the series epecially with what happened at the end of the episode since they maybe won't be working together.

Seeing ren and b genuinely appreciate the beauty of a cobblestone box makes me feel better about my lackluster building skills

I'm very excited for this season!! The previous two were so much fun, and watching your pov is always super entertaining!

imagine if Grian made it so it wasnt matched up. if you take damage this person over here also takes damage, but if they take damage some other person takes damage. that would be real chaos.

The Box may be ugly, but it’s certainly imposing and intimidating!! Also, maybe you should add some fences or something to the top for just a bit of nice detailing (or stone walls!) Another suggestion is to use some deep slate if possible, since it’s notoriously slow and annoying to mine. Maybe in place of the wood in the grid pattern? Loving this series so far!!

Grian won in third life after keeping Scar alive till the final showdown, and the only reason Grian was on red was because Scar betrayed him. Even then Grian had planned for that and ambushed them.

@@shanesunil Also in third life scar only lived so long because Grian kept saving him. Grian made the traps, the escape routes, and the base. Scar was good at talking to people and creating conflict within the alliances.

Golden carrots are definitely the best for health regen, but steak and pork tie for a close second because they fill more hunger bars.

If you still have that saddle, getting a horse even if it’s just slightly better than walking speed will be a HUGE advantage!

You're using a lot of torches on areas mobs no longer spawn. Remember that 1.18 changed mob spawns. If a block has any light on it at all, mobs don't spawn. They only spawn at light level zero.

You also forget these are content creators and it’s no good for content if their videos are dark/not very bright for the viewers.

Using deepslate in your walls would also be useful since it takes awhile to mine

If anyone knows what Jackbox murder party is, the 4th season should be No Life where some people are "ghosts" who have to try and "possess" the living players and take their life.

Oh my god Ren this was such a good episode but out of everyone so far the absolute scariest, that subtle music started and then things started escalating and I was genuinely on the edge of my seat despite seeing other povs and knowing you survive!!so excited for the rest of the season!!

0:28 I feel like Demise was the unofficial season 0 of this series, but other than that no that's all of them so far

Yay! Season Three is here, and I get to watch Ren's escapades, trappage, and sweet sweet editing! Woohoo!

To speed up building, and save on tools... you could use bucks of lava and water to make cascading cobble...

You could upgrade this concept (both durability and ugliness) by going to the nether with a TON of buckets, scooping up the lava, and freezing it into obsidian. This will probably be fast enough to build quite the wall if the nether portal is close. You've been so close to winning twice now, third times the charm! Edit: make the obsidian wall hidden within the others for an extra surprise!

I hope Martyn and ren are together. Can’t wait to see this

Build at the border corner up about 300 blocks. Then build the inner with obsidian, lined with lava all around it but a single walkway. And have 4 stacks of tnt with stacks of food. That way it will be a bunker that you can rain bombs from above when everyone goes red.

I love how the reason you were caught cow rustling is that you were trying to be good neighbours and only steal one, which led to protracted negotiations with the cows.

I love Rens voice and I can’t tell what accent it is but it’s awesome I love it he almost sounds like Stewie from family guy 😂

steak is the best food for general nommage, but golden carrots pack more healing potential. best diet is to eat steak most of the time, but never get full, and dont keep it on your bar. instead keep the carrots for when you (or your partner) needs the health. maintaining at least a half empty haunch will make it so you always have access to eating that carrot.

I love how every season, big b and ren somehow manage to force alliances.

You should use enderporters to get in and out! You can have a button in a secret location, or maybe one of many on the walls! Worst case, people just bring you back home.
