Like your comment, Fix the Cause not the symptoms. For me when you want to fix a wall cracking or bow on a basement. 1. The first thing to look is outside of the house to find the root causes. (most like like is water related, from a gutter blocked, a drain leak, water settlement or not moving). 2. Fix from the outside of the house don't move inside the basement before fixing outside. 3. Once you have a dry situation in the outside do what ever you want in the inside, put I beams, rectangular steal, power brace, etc. I a great source is the Drain French Man in youtube.
