I have a bow made from ash. My dad always said Osage orange was the best wood for bow making there was. I was impressed as soon as I heard you say it.

@@erikhoff5010 You have to get to level 60 woodcutting for the logs. But the level 70 fletching is more the challenge to craft the longbow.

Definitely a reason native americans used osage. Interesting fact osage burns so hot it isn't advised for wood stoves that arent meant to burn coal.
