Brian, love watching you hunt!
It's great these guys have the opportunity to get these early season hunts going on.
More muley hunts please. It was awesome Thank you
Such a cool hunt.
Great video Brian!
Brian once again great episode!
A good way to secure field dressing and campsites is to use a portable electric fence. The lightest one out there weighs only 2.4 lbs and it’s powerful enough to deter a hungry griz. Just a suggestion
BEAUTIFUL BUCK

Awesome video, brings back many memories of back packing into the back country for mulies. Gear on my back! I would hike in weeks before the hunt bringing in food to cache in prep for the hunt. I harvested some real monsters.

That's awesome!! Talking about earning it. 👊 😆
When you started the truck the first thing that popped into my head was that it cranked a bit too long.
Nice job. Beautiful deer

Awesome!
I enjoyed watching you guys put in the work and also thank you for the helpful tips. I was wondering how you stored the deer meat overnight ? Or does it just sit bagged up ?
Awesome!! Epitome of true fair chase! You one on one up close and personal with your quary. Your knowledge and skills against his instincts and senses. You are a true hunter not some shooter using high tech devices and guns from so far away the game doesn't have a fair chance to out smart you and get away.

@@EastmansHuntingJournals yes archery only, but not out west this year. I will only be hunting for wt tails on my ranch here in Georgia. Not even close to the excitement or rewards of hunting mulies out west. I do have 9 pts for antelope in wyo. I'm planning to use them next year.
Nice buck . Jump box's are small and inexpensive . I have one in my truck at all times .
Seeing how long it took him to find that buck after shooting it reinforces why Idaho outlawed mechanical broadheads. Oh wait, this hunt was in Idaho so I must have been seeing things when he nocked that arrow with a mechanical broadhead since you would never support someone doing illegal stuff.

Not sure what year they outlawed mechanicals. This video was shot in 2017.

Looks like a 3 or 4 blade head to me. Hard to say with that back drop, but doesn't look like mechanical

@@EastmansHuntingJournals I am back in Australia, so yes i'll be hunting deer, camels, buffaloes and more! ;)
The sun at your back is NOT how to glass, that means that you are looking at the country opposite of where the deer bed. Doing this will have you looking at 5% of the deer that are actually there. Deer like shade, they don't bed on the sun side of the hill. That is glassing 101 tbh! Looking into the sun may suck but is the only way to find the smartest animals that know how to stay cool all day long. Many many people make the joke about how it sucks to have to look into the sun to glass the best parts of the mountains lol.
What boots does Brian use?
Ya,didn’t see a broadhead. The old school voice over!

Should have taken the dodge
Great cinematography and cool hunt, but I think what's holding your videos back is the talking sections. You always start by saying "alright" and you always end by saying "we're pumped" or "we're gonna go get into them". This is annoying and makes me turn the video off halfway through.

Appreciate your feedback. This is one of Brian's early hunts with Eastmans'. Give this one a watch: kzread.info/dash/bejne/foJn282lhabIf5s.html
haha its so funny when you can see the staged video and there is an arrow missing from the quiver. Pointless part of the video, only took up a couple seconds, and totally ruins the realism of the video. Just stop putting that staged stuff in. You don't need it, and we don't want it.
So sick of these staged animatronic deer hunts.
