i learned this Woody Guthrie song (featured on the new Resistance Revival Chorus record, This Joy) to sing with the RRC at the DC Women’s March. The song is actually called "All You Fascists Bound To Lose" but my friends and i (who tested negative and podded-up to make the journey to the DC march together) have come to call it simply "Boundalose." it became the theme song of our trip and, in this moment, it feels kinda like the theme song of our country. or so we hope as we hold our breath and pray for the people of America to rediscover the power and the glory of voting. so here we are, my pod of friends: Zoe Boekbinder, Gracie and Rachel and Diane Patterson, performing the song on October 18th, 2020 after they surprised me with a belated happy 50th b-day picnic. definitely one of my favorite birthday parties ever. -ani

I don't know the how or the why of it. When I was lost in my religion and my denial of who I was, Ani showed me the way, and still today, 20+ years later, she's still showing us what we need. =) (see also Do or Die, Pacifists Lament etc)

I want to have hope, but I've spent most of my free life championing and supporting women and minority rights only to be hated for being a white male.. I know most of Ani's songs by heart. 🎸 and yet I see 3rd wave feminism that's gone full conservative against the other half of The Race, ie "men" (a reference in another AD song, relax please).. I find fierce women like her to be pillar, 🔥😜💥😜🔥 however, she's causing the pendulum to swing in a way that's not conducive to The Cause.. I was locked away for 4.5 years of childhood from toddler on by women.. and suffered worse as the years went on.. By women. So what? When you lock away someone for years, gender is an afterthought. I don't blame women. I blame American Socialization and thus didn't develop gender Dismorphia/Dysphoria over it. Was circumcised at 5 by my first adoptive family, at the behest of women, and the meds that the group homes had me taking gave me "B3" cup tits in Jr high, so fuck off with your attempts to profile me if you bother to try.. I understand this shit acutely ⁰ Right wing social eugenics via Ayn Rand, is what is driving the individualism pitching everyone against each other. More to your point, religion isn't a true pursuit of God/Infinity/Nature.. it's just human kind's subjective interpretation of reality held over history.. God inst a religion; humanity's attempt to define God is.. Much of it obscurred/removed. Anyways, Conservatism kills, regardless which race, culture, or religion it hails from. Tribes in South America knew what Communism was before the US founders did and then Marx, so we're dealing with a timeless empirical science of no one's invention. "We the People" is "Co"mm"Uni"sm. It doesn't read as "Me the Person, to form a more Perfect Corporation".. #Timeless ... 🤙
