It's great that "OCF" can mean on-camera flash or off-camera flash. 😂
Man, I though direct flash was a not a good option for indoor photos but wow, I was so wrong! This is gorgeous! 😍😍😍

ive used the a1 its softer than most on camera flashes but it seemed to produce spots of hard light 0:50 ..how do you soften it in post ? also why do u like using r6 ii over the r5 at times ?

I was doing it intentionally for that type of look. If I wanted softer light I’d use a bigger modifier and probably off camera. R6ii focuses better ☺️
Hi Vanessa! Help me understand the techniques you used please! Did you decide not to bounce the light for creative purposes or was the direct flash your main goal for this photoshoot all along?

If I bounced flash at any point in here, it would’ve taken the pink colored walls and reflected that back on her skin. We also had a conversation earlier about how she likes the direct flash look so that’s what we went with.

Was the flash in TTL with some exposure comp? I were you manually dialing in? Love the tube shots!! Lighting was kick ass!!!
