Many people are never satisfied with what they are or what they have. If God made you black, be black. If God made you white, be white. I will never understand selling bleach to dark skinned people or selling skin dye to light skinned people. Both these things are health hazards and only idiots use them. God bless.

Not intentional but in grade 7 sewing class I accidentally sewed my fingers together on my left hand with the sewing machine. I had the foot up because I had got my fabric stuck and was trying to get it out but when I finally did I accidentally pushed down on the foot pedal as my left hand passed under the foot and sewed thought the sides of my fingers sewing them all together. I was banned from the sewing machines. I also ended up sewing myself to my project while hand sewing so I ended up being kicked out of the class entirely. In a hilarious turn of events the class they put me instead was woodwork with machines that you would literally take your hand off with and surprisingly enough I did not even get a sliver in that class.

It does make wonder if there should be a stricter protocol for plastic surgery. Meaning, before any procedure, a person has to go through a psychological evaluation first. If not approved by a certified therapist, they can’t get the procedure. I know I’m leaving out a lot of details, but it seems like a good baseline.

I believe that their brains don’t stop thinking about their image, it’s like a type of addiction where they actually think they are spending their time and money wisely and getting dopamine hits from likes on IG and comments in public and people staring at them. The current culture we live in affirms people live “MY Body MY Choice” instead of loved ones and parents pushing their kids to be mentally strong and morally sound. This starts at childhood. You can’t fix these people now, their basically adult children.

It's different in europe...as someone from Slovakia, I can tell you that the one black person that lived there was treated more like an oddity/ something that no one has seen before except for like rap music videos on TV. They don't have the same history interacting with black people as Americans do (im talking about slavery). I don't think they see black people as a different race over there, at least in the smaller European countries. Me personally when I immigrated to america it took me a while to realise that they talk different, act different etc. I really did just see black people as dark white people at first. Its from a place of ignorance, not racism.

My neighbor is so disfigured from fillers and botox she looks like a circus clown. She has to be the center of attention at all times and I think many of these people going to extremes in their physical appearance is one way to get it no matter if people are staring in disbelief or not, it is still attention.

I also understand having an injury or deformity fixed. I understand a person maybe getting a nose job if they have an unusually large or crooked nose. It's your face after all. I dont understand the people who are never satisfied and have constant procedures. Especially when so many of their procedures go wrong but they keep on doing it.
