I just bought and tried both the Finishing Cream and the Fast Cutting Compound at my detail shop. I was blown away by both products, to a point I called GG Headquarters to tell them how much I loved them. Those two products will now be our go to 1-2 punch. We do many cars each week and this will now help me get better results and also faster. Our carts are filled with GG products. :) Thank you Groits.

I am really happy with this system, ive had it for a few years. What I find really cool is that with literally zero experience I was getting surprisingly professional results day 1, yeah there are always better techniques, but even with the most basic skills this gives good results

I use the correcting cream often since it finishes out so nicely. The products work quite well compared to more expensive products.

Could I order a washer for my g9 for that modification that you were talking about

Great vid. Always wondered about the four liquids: is this a four step system? That seems a bit atavistic. But you clarified that these four liquids are really four options in your toolkit. Use just the sealant as an AIO if that’s what the job calls for, or use the correcting cream finished w a sealant if that’s what’s needed. So thanks for making that clear.

I mostly use Groits products at my shop because we get stellar results.

For the price point, and user experience Fast Correcting Cream is hands down one of the all around best compounds available. *Zero* dusting, tons of lubrication, nearly endless open work time, easy removal. It is also very versatile and you can dial in the cut and finish with pad choice. The lubrication elements are very unique, but effective. Most good compounds leave a very thin and flat oil like consistency residue, where the FCC tends to leave a bit more but it is a much thinner milk like consistency and it just has a pleasant smooth and safe feel while working it. Easy to use and very forgiving, but with enough cut to get the job done with an entry level polisher, great for beginners. Nobody should ever put up with those old obsolete quick drying dust throwing compounds again. I've even experimented and had success working a section with FCC but not removing it, blowing out the pad, then just going right back in for another quick pass or two. Still plenty of lubrication available, and there is almost zero residue to remove. Many times that quick followup step is enough to finish out finnicky paint instead of needing a second step with a finish polish to meet my OCD standards.. Just a total home run! 👍👌✌

In many cases, yes. You'll want to inspect your results as you go and make those determinations.

Can someone help me out .. A black hood , it has this hazy white area slowing taking shape , right above the engine area. I've used some basic rubbing compound on a small test area , it removed it for a short time. Is this Boss cream going to be to aggressive for my situation ?

How often do you clean you pad while working on the vehicle? Could you use 1 pad if you clean it with a brush after each pass on 1 vehicle or do you use numerous pads? Thanks

Quick question: Would you go Correcting Cream -> Perfecting Cream -> Finishing Sealant? Or is that overkill? If so, which part is overkill?

It's not overkill, however, inspect your results after using Correcting Cream. If you've happy with the defect removal at this point, you could move to Finishing Sealant.

Can you put best in show wax on after the finishing sealant step?

The simple answer is yes, but there’s a few things to keep in mind!⁠ When applying multiple layers of wax or sealant, always assess the protection and aesthetic properties of each. The extent of the protection will only last as long as your bottom layer provides, so you’ll want to use the more durable product as your bottom layer and allow it to cure for 12-24 hours. Your top layer will determine the gloss, shine, and hydrophobic properties, so if you’re using a super hydrophobic protectant, like Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax, it’s not particularly beneficial to put another coat of a different wax on top as you’ll sacrifice the hydrophobic properties.⁠ Given that we suggest 3-4 annual applications of Finishing Sealant and Best of Show Wax, you won't necessarily need to worry about that too much.

I want to use this system to correct paint before applying a ceramic coating. I obviously won’t be using finishing sealant because I don’t want to lay down any protection before the coating. Could I use correcting cream and then perfecting cream with a black pad to finish out as my last step?

@@clintonross1649 the experience was absolutely amazing. I don’t have much experience with paint correction just countless hours of KZread learning. It couldn’t have been easier with the BOSS creams, I’m blown away with the results I was able to get with little experience! I also used their orange foam pads for the job. Hope this helps

Is the Pre-Wax Cleanser discontinued ?

Just purchased this product and it worked great. I did have a problem with removing the product. Just curious as to why this happened.

One of our customer service associates can help if you're able to call at 800-345-5789. Without knowing a little more detail, some tips are: Work on a cool surface, out of direct sunlight whenever possible. There isn't a need to allow the correcting or perfecting creams to dry, once finished with the section, you can remove the residue right away. Putting too much product on the pad adds to what you need to buff off.

Hey GG will these creams work well with a PC 7424 and 5.5" CCS pads? if so, which color pads would you recommend? I have a soft and sticky paint (2016 WRX) with some light-moderate swirls/scratches. and some, what appears to be, oxidation from road grime along the doors getting kicked up from my tires. i did test a small area with a MF and megs cleaner wax, took it off with moderate pressure by hand. thanks

So when you use the fast correction cream you have to use the regular correcting cream and then proceed with each step all the way down ? or can you jump from The Fast correction cream straight to the perfecting , sealant , wax ... ? Seems like an awful lot of steps to have to go through. Lol I know I might be a little lazy but that's five times I have to go over the car. Will there be any clear coat left?

The BOSS creams are not designed/required to be a step system, so you can move from Fast Correcting Cream to a protectant step (sealant or wax). In most cases BOSS correcting creams finish out wax-ready. Using added steps and products in the line-up are a choice that you can make factoring in how much time you desire to spend and the results you want to achieve.

Jeff I have the Griots Garage 3 and 6 inch Random Orbitals, Do I have get the BOSS machines if I want use the BOSS products. Also I have Candy White 2012 VW GTI that I'm I want to remove orange peal from as well as micro fine scratches over all of the painted surfaces and I'm also considering wet sanding it with some 3500 or 5000 grit. What do you recommend

The Transporter Hey Bud,A GTI man!!!! I'm currently restoring an MK2 16V and a MK1 GTI. As for orange peel removal...a light sand using 3M Trizact 5000 Grit using plain water as a lubricant (Hand pad and interface) would level the peel just enough. I'd suggest THE BOSS G21 paired with FAST Correcting Cream and a Griot's Garage Micro Fiber FAST Cutting Pad-6". This will remove the sanding marks. Once complete, follow with Perfecting Cream and Yellow Perfecting Foam. The car will blow your mind following that process. If the 5000 grit doesn't level enough, the 3000 Trizact would be removable utilizing the same process. Hope that helps... PS...the G15 would a 5" system may be easier and safer. It'd just take you longer.

Jeff Brown Do I really need to use the BOSS G21 Couldn't I use the Griots Random Orbitals (which I already have) with the Micro Fiber Fast Cutting Pad I'm trying to avoid spending anymore money on tools unless I absolutely have to, I'm getting ready to sell my GTI So I need to save as much as possible right now. Also how would you use such a big machine in an area like the A Pillars. Also I had Autogeek and the owner from Chemical Guys say Paint on Todays Cars is to thin for Wet Sanding. So I need to be sure what you're recommending won't burn through the paint Since I'm going to be selling the car. The Transporter Sorry for the delayed response. The Griot's Random Orbital @ speed 6 using a Micro Fiber FAST Cutting Pad should remove the Trizact 5000. Will you be sanding by hand or DA (5/16")? If hand, I'd use a Meguiar's S6BP Hand Pad and an Interface S6FI. Use plain water for your lubricant. Suggest to sand with 3000 and follow with a 45% angle cross hatch pattern and 5000. Suggest to do a test area to ensure the 6" Random Orbital is capable of removing the marks. If not, you'll need to bump to the G15 or G21. The build pics are sweet, the car is sweeter! Nice!

Sounds like a Rupes machine. If you had made the machine yourself, you wouldn't need any modification, you would have addressed it it the machine design.

MAKE A PRODUCT THAT DOESNT ATTACK DUST, COMPLETELY REPELS WATER DIRT AND MUD!
