Hi there. I’ll be using the g8 and the g9 with the 3” and 6” glass pads and the fine glass polish to take out hard water etchings (all windows and paint are 100% covered in this road film/water stain). I have the job in a couple days and I’m second guessing myself. It’s a 2019 Ford Fusion in Pearl White that was just bought a few months ago from the dealership in that condition, meaning they didn’t/couldn’t get the grime off, and the customer has washed it many times trying to get the buildup off before calling me. So I know that it’s going to take a lot of work to remove, and I’m not afraid to say that I’m nervous being a super beginner not having polished before (polishers are still new in box), that maybe the pad would be a good idea, yet I’m only doing the windows (for now) and I know I’ll need every abrasive that your fine glass polish and glass pads will give. What would you recommend? Thank you! -Tiffany

I know all these pieces (machine,pads,products) were made to work with each other so i am aware results may not be as good by breaking the system up. But i will ask anyways. Have you tested your products with different pads and on differents machines? Also have you tested your pads with different products and machines? For example can you give a guess of how well your products would work if i used your GG6 and Meguiars MF pads? And vice versa. Also what about usimg these pads and products on a rotary?

Stephen Keef Hi Stephen, you are correct, the pads, creams and tools are all built from the inside out to work in concert with one another. Much like a finely tuned race motor, the system is balanced and blue printed to match one another's weights. So to answer your question, yes...THE BOSS has been tested with virtually every major player's pads. The weight of the pad is what contributes to smooth operation or lack thereof. The more weight the pad has and liquid capacity, the potential for more vibration comes into play. Feel free to use other mfg. pads, but know you will not get the smooth operation we built into BOSS unless you use our pads. Buy one BOSS Pad and I'm confident you won't go back to the others.. how does this compare to adams polish 15 mm set up. Theirs is newer with a new pads and newer compound. This set up is almost 3 years old.

EYC Haven't tried Adam's. This system is still great. It hasn't been made obsolete my any means

Has anyone used this on a GG6? I have been using Lake Country 5.5" Flat Pads, how will these compare on the GG6?

+oRedRaider the Boss pads work AMAZING on the GG6 polisher, it actually makes the GG6 more effective in correcting and finishing ability. It work great with a GG6. Lake Contry does not work as good as these pads even if it's not a Boss.
